The rooms booked/ shown on the site were not assigned to us. The room was very cramped with no space at all . The staff is very helpful and guide you to the places you need to visit. Overall ok experience in this hotel. The hotel is strategically placed in the old quarters. All places- especially the night market- is within walking distance from the hotel

We have stayed with family. Nice place to stay at old quarter, all nearby. Special thanks to Ms. Kim, cooperative minded, tried to help at her level best. The hotel doesn't serve lunch and dinner, that's a problem. Otherwise a good place to stay in Hanoi.

this is a great location to stay for exploring the old quarter of hanoi. this hotel is great because of Ms Kim- she is so incredibly helpful. she helped us book a cruise to lan ha bay (after i asked a lot of questions and was being indecisive but she was patient), sleeper bus to sapa, day trip to ninh binh and transport to and from airport. it was great to save time booking all these things myself and also i saved so much time doing less research/planning. she also answered a ton of questions via whatsapp throughout our trip. the hotel room itself was fairly clean, but the shower has mold in it. we stayed in 3 different rooms (hanoi was our base for exploring the north) and they all had similar setups (and moldy bathrooms- could use replacement curtains). the rooms without balcony are less expensive but actually better for sleep because it’s super quiet and dark. the balcony rooms are facing the street so they’re louder, we did it for a night and did enjoy the balcony during the day, but i wouldnt want to do it for too long if you’re a light sleeper. they kept our luggage while we left for over a week. all of the staff went above and beyond!…

We had a fantastic stay in Hanoi Golden Holiday Hotel. It is perfectly located in the Old Quarter just a short walk from Hoen Kiem lake. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walking distance and very good free walking tours abailable from the hotel. There's a lovely banh mi restaurant nearby which is perfect for lunch. The room was perfect, very clean with great air conditioning and a good shower. The best part of our stay were the incredible staff. Ms Kim was in charge and she couldn't have been more helpful. It was our first stop in Vietnam and she booked a comfortable return journey to Sa Pa for us. She also recommended and booked a fantastic overnight cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay with an excellent company called Renea. She was so helpful that we ended up going back to stay there an extra night between Sa Pa and Bai Tu Long. She also offered all of the possible ways to get from Ha long to Ninh Binh and booked our preferred choice. We had left it a little late to book an overnight train from Ninh Binh to Hue so she spent several days checking for cancellations while we weren't even staying with her and then booked it for us. Overall I couldn't possibly recommend the hotel enough, a fantastic welcome, homely feel and wonderful overall experience. Thank you Ms Kim!…

We were really happy with our stay at the Golden Holiday Hotel. the location is perfect, step outside the hotel door and you have everything in walking distance. The room was very clean and tidy. The Staff was AMAZING they attended to our every needs. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and I would return. The food was great, they even provided a packed breakfast on our last day, This made our holiday even more enjoyable

We are very well helped by the friendly staff. Kim helped and advised us on our vacation planning through Vietnam and nice sights and restaurants in Hanoi. She booked a tour to Halong Bay, our bus to Sapa and in the meantime we were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel, which saved a lot of lugging. We are very happy that we slept in this hotel and Kim helped us a lot. We recommend to go here!

We were overwhelmed by the number of hotels in to stay in for our first trip to Hanoi but stumbled across this hotel online and so glad we did. The hosts are extremely accomodating and although it’s in a very lively area of Hanoi which is close to the hustle and bustle but the room is very quiet and spacious. Not to mention the price! For a hotel of this quality you would be expecting it pay much more but we were pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended!
