Due to weather conditions, our overnight harbor cruise was cancelled, and we were accommodated at this hotel. This was the most memorable hotel during my entire visit to Vietnam and Cambodia. Wished I could have stayed forever! The wall of windows, including balcony, overlooking Halong Bay, was outstanding. The restaurant meals/food was great! Nothing was lacking.

I do have to say the breakfast is good and it's authentic viet breakfast and it's at the 14th floor so the view is good. The hotel is not that clean overall and there's a smell in the room and the hall way. I thought it was my floor but it's the same when I go to another floor to... More

This is a palatial hotel with an impressive lobby and beautiful rooms facing the sea. In fact, everything about it is impressive except for the location and the view. The view is of a reclamation and construction zone with the sea also visible in the distance. This hotel is five star in most respects, but it's much more enjoyable to... More

My partner and I stayed here for four days in January 2016. I'm always one to find the positives in everything, so I'll start by saying that the breakfast spread each morning was very well done (although by 7:30am after being open for 1.5hr everything was fairly cold). The stars I gave is for their breakfast and the comfortable bed.... More

I already heard that winter in Halong could be very cold, however, the room temperature of my villa and the outside were almost the same. I had trouble getting into sleep as I was too cold. I tried to use the heater, but it did not work. Also, although I left 'do not disturb' sign on the door, some staffs... More

I've been here twice, once in 2013 and the recent once is Christmas 2015. Everything was fine until we got a massage from the spa here. I booked massage for 4 people, the manager picked up the phone and told me yes we're ready. But when I brought my parents there, nobody there except for him. We had to wait... More

We stayed in this hotel for just one night prior to embarking on out boat trip in Halong Bay the next day. The hotel was good for what we needed but I am not sure it would have been good for a longer stay as it was too far from anything else. The room was fine and reasonably comfortable and... More

Good quality. Great views. A very decent hotel. Friendly staff. Large rooms with very large beds. All in all a comfortable place to stay for a night. I wouldn't recommend spending very much time in halong as there really isn't anything to do. Get straight to the cruise ships and islands which are fabulous.

First things first. The location is just under a mile north of the Ha Long tour boats pier. There is a very steep hill to get to reception from the main road...not for the faint hearted. Check in was easy with a very welcome cool squash on arrival. Up another incline, we stayed at villa 2 as it was a... More
