It was a great place in the North of Vietnam for relaxing after crazy bus driving almost 4 hours from Hanoi. We did not take the cruise on the bay but enjoy the great view from this hotel and still see the bay.

The Tuan Chau International Resort is very well located to visit places such as Crocodile theatre, Dolphin Showing Club and Vietnam Food Garden. The main feature of this resort is the beach which is actually man made. The beach was filled with sand transported from a 300 Km away sand quarry. The resort is reasonably good considering the fact that...

We were booked into this hotel when our overnight trip on a Halong Bay cruise was suddenly terminated due to an expected typhoon. The hotel turned out to be true to the initial description given to us: it's a four-star hotel catering to Vietnamese travellers. We were given a large and well equipped suite in one of the hillside villas,...

We had the company retreat here, very good option in terms of food and accomodation. The only thing to improve is the english skills for the staff. Nice view to the islands, good location for the swimming pool and the beach.

The staff were snarky upon check in and it never got better. Very unpleasant staff. They tried to charge me for sitting next to the pool, tried to charge me for using the sauna after they told me it was included. They are all about taking your money, and they do not like tourists! Food was way over priced. Rooms...

This is the only time I have ever used a hotel facility and had someone tell me that I had been there too long and should leave. This was after we had been charged for the use of the pool (on top of the entrance fee) and paid about 12 dollars for some badly cooked fries. Hardly what you expect...

Pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the resort as hadn't expected something so luxurious for the price! Location really couldn't be beaten as while we did not want to stay on a boat in Halong Bay, it was amazing to wake up with a beautiful view of the islands. Unfortunately the resort was practically empty which, while it ensured a...
