I came here with my family and i really like everything here. The room was very clean and well persent. The location should be is the best choice for you. This hotel very near the Da Lat mảket and Xuan Huong lake. You can walk around the city in night and enjoy some street food here. My recommend is Vietnamese’s pizza..very cheap and good price (about 1$). I will come back here next year in my vacation. Love all staff here
This hotel is a bit dated now but the rooms are a generous size with lots of storage. En-suite are acceptable. The central location is good for getting around but the noise of the town can keep you awake. The hotel does not offer parking, and we had to move them after the night market had started which meant having the walk out moped 500 yards before driving to the parking area, not ideal after a days riding. Staff were friendly and pleasant.
The bed was hard - just a slab of foam on a board. The room overlooked the night market which sent up a din of voices and honking horns throughtout the night. It would have been nice to have the windows open, since there is no air conditioning, but it is too noisy outside. The reception staff was pleasant however. My main complaint is the on-line booking system. I had booked this room several months in advance, knowing that Dalat would be crowded over the Tet holiday. Unfortunately the credit card that I had used to book the room was set to expire during our trip to Vietnam. I had a new card issued prior to the trip, but I did not think to contact the hotel with the new expiry. The hotel had not contacted me to inform me of any troubles with my card, so I let it slide. It turns out that the hotel couldn't have processed my new card over the phone, by email, or by re-booking online anyway. I received email notification after arriving in Saigon that Tulip II would be cancelling my reservation if I did not contact the hotel within 12 hours. I stayed up all night, frantically trying to contact the hotel, but it seemed that their phone system had changed over to a 3rd-party answering service after hours, and the person manning the phones did not speak English and seemed to be unaware of the existence of a Tulip II Hotel. I even had the Vietnamese receptionist of our Saigon hotel try to call the Tulip II for me, and she got the same response. I tried sending emails and calling and texting a mobile number that was listed for the Tulip II hotel but got no response. I tried several other hotels in Dalat, but they were all full for the holiday. I was finally able to get through to Tulip II at 7:00 the next morning, and they agreed to hold the room for me. However, when we arrived at the Tulip II later that day we were told that they would only accept cash, since they had no way of processing my new credit card. The receptionist said that I could pay the following morning. I said that I preferred to use my credit card. The receptionist got on the phone and then said that they would try to run my card the next morning. Apparently they planned to have someone bring a credit card reader from one of the other Tulip Dalat hotels. There was another guest in the lobby when we were checking in who was screaming at the staff. The poor girl at the reception desk was almost in tears. Apparently the screaming lady's reservation had also been cancelled, but in her case the room had already been assigned to another guest.…
Nice hotel with good location. Just 5-8 mins walk to Dalat night Market. The room is very clean and friendly reception. If u have no idea where would you stay in Dalat. I recommend you to be here for resting and relaxing after long journey in Dalat.
My husband and I booked this hotel on last minute, basically just swiped through TripAdvisor and picked it out, due to their location close to the night market. My first impression was this hotel is quite small but pretty. The staff were really friendly but they don't speak English very well, just enough to get you settle in your room. Be aware that if you come near the weekend, there will be difference prices. We were told that they don't have anymore single-bed room so we end up took a double-bed room. We didn't have the view, our view faces the wall of the next door building. At first, I wasn't so stoked but later I appreciated it, because I still could hear loud noises, imagine being in the front and gotta deal with all that noise while trying to sleep. Also, we got the 6th floor room, which seems rather new, we got the entire "tiny" floor to ourselves, across from us is their laundry room, which didn't bother us much. I'd pick it again than tiny hallway downstairs with other rooms doors facing my door. Like most hotels in Da Lat, there are no AC; however, they have a fan in the room, which is a bonus, you gotta use it otherwise the room will feel stuffy The thing that bothers me the most is mildew smell. We couldn't figure it out if it is because of the weather or what. We always leave the bathroom's window open , but whenever we came back from outside, the strong mildew smell slapped our face right away. Overall, it is a decent place to stay. Good price for the location. I would definitely come back again.…
