Bad experience! Pls make sure you know which villa you stay!!! 1-2 villa is deco great to marketing and for movie sense only. THE REST IS TERRIBLE! I book villa which 4 rooms for family and it all dirty and smell wet old wood when check in. Floor was not clean and they need to clean the floor again when we are complain. This is the most well-conserved French heritage compound in Dalat, where all the villas are maintained and renovated in such a way that makes it safe and comfortable enough to be a lodging for traveler through a chilly night in this city yet still preserve almost the entirety of French colonial vibe, culture, architecture, landscapes, inner setting, atmosphere. Casada is a mixed-use compound providing both lodging and Food and Beverage services. There are over 10 villas in this compound, formerly used as the accommodation of French officers and Vietnamese high ranking officials during the colonial period. French music as well as the iconic Trinh music of the 60’s are played most of the time in the restaurant area. The food is really good and always comes in a generous serving. You hardly have to order an encore. The service is superb. The price is very reasonable for a place like this. Price range is from VND 35,000-120,000 per dish. Dining atmosphere is perfectly serene as diners can opt to dine in separate rooms upstairs or in the gardens. The kitchen is located in a separate house so you hardly hear any noise or sense any hurriedness. Taking a stroll down the tree-lined gravel path at sunset is one of the best experiences in Dalat. This place is also frequently chosen as the filming plot for many famous horror movies in Vietnam so expect to bump into some filming crews during your walk around the area. The city center, Xuan Huong Lake area, is easily accessible from the compound by walk.

My credit card was used at this resort without my permission. In total over £2600 was stolen between the 26th & 29th May 2018. Although it may look good on the internet, Do not visit this resort, or it may cost you a lot more than you expect!

We were very disappointed to find ourselves isolated across a busy road from the main resort despite having had all the money owed for our two night stay deducted from my account a week before we arrived and our booking having been made several months prior to our visit. To access breakfast we had to head back across this road. After complaining the next morning they transferred us back to the main resort. In both rooms, the toilet leaked. This is despite renovations having been undertaken in the second room. The shower in the first room had to be held. Nothing to attach it to the wall. There was nothing to hang your clothes up so you risked everything getting wet. Neither room had air conditioning. The TV in the first room was very grainy. Poor reception. Don’t eat dinner at the restaurant. Not very tasty. Go just up the road to the H Flower restaurant. Delighted to have you come and eat there. Brilliant service and very tasty. Reception can be a tricky place to find. We thought we had been dropped off at the correct spot but suddenly realised we hadn’t. Took us a while to find it and then had to lug our bags to it. On a positive note, the gardens offer a pleasant place to take a stroll, although a little more maintenance wouldn’t go astray.

Cadasa has an amazing group of colonial buildings set in a beautiful gardens. Sadly they don't know how to maintain these old villas. They are badly equipped - the shower pointed at the ceiling and couldn't be adjusted. They are not very clean but dusty. The windows don't close properly and the period shutters are damaged and bang all night long. The staff however are brilliant, try really hard and nothing is too much trouble for them. I felt sorry for them shouldering complaints that stem from poor management at the top.

We were traveling through Vietnam with our nephew and wanted to spend time in the mountains away from the heat. We spent 6 nights at the Cadasa. The friendly staff was always smiling and very helpful. We never felt uncomfortable as a gay couple staying here. The villas are located just a quick taxi ride outside of the center of town - which is great. I find the town center to be too congested and noisy. It's less than $2 for a taxi to town center and a quick walk to nearby restaurants and coffee shops like Leo's kitchen. Our rooms were across the street from the reception. I'm glad that they have restored these villas but they still need some work and maintenance. The grounds in front of the reception and breakfast area are beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast is included the room rate. On the weekends they serve a huge breakfast buffet and it tends to get very crowded. The breakfast was good. Overall it was a nice stay.

We got robbed at night & noticed in the morning, then we promptly informed the hotel owner, but she didnt support and even blamed us, we couldnt stand for it and posted on the facebook and rated them terribly, then her son found our Facebook & commented saying its our fault. From the beginning when the issue happened, they just kept challenging and blaming us without saying a sorry or providing any solution. This kind of service is not worthy the cost to be paid. I highly recommend tourists not to stay here.

Response from Cadasa_Resort, Giám đốc quan hệ khách hàng at Dalat Cadasa Resort
Responded Jan 1, 2017
Dear Buu Lam, Thank you for your feedback. We are really sorry about an unexpected incident during your stay with us. We are also sorry if in the first process of the investigation you had the impression that you or your friend (who did not register as guest in your last night stay) were involved in the problem. You informed us in the morning that you lost your belongings in your last night stay, not robbed. Your case is being carefully investigated by a security guard company which we contracted for managing the resort’s security and the local police department. Therefore, we do not have the authority or ability to suspect anybody or conclude anything about the issue. When we get the official conclusion from the local police department, we will inform you the result and the solution for your issue based on the result and the mutual agreement of both side. We also gave you our commitment letter to ensure that we totally support the local police department work and will follow up this case. Any comments or feedback without the name of Dalat Cadasa Resort, and any comments or feedback not in our website, fan page or our partner’s website (e.g Tripadvisor, Agoda…) are not official and thus are not related to us. Again, we are sorry about this problem. Surveillance cameras are installed in the living rooms as an additional security measures to help our contract security guards manage the villa better. We hope you keep calm and wait for the result rather than asking your friends and relatives who did not even stay at our resort to bombard us with tons of bad reviews on many social websites. Best regards,

I was planning a trip to Dalat with my group of friends by the end of November 2016 and Dalat Cadasa showed up with an ancient appearance, great location, a variety of different shared houses and decent prices. Firstly, this hotel is one of the most primeval mansion in Dalat which has been refurnished into a rated hotel and that will ensure the comfort of your stay with great services and welcoming staffs as well as the joy of living with and being part of the history. There are several groups of tourist taking photos of the villas and asked us for a tour around where we live. This show how people love the ancient look of this hotel which is also a great chance for you to get to know new people. As for the staffs, there were securities 24/7 around the property which make we feel really safe at night. Also the receptionists and the owner were extremely friendly who we had a small conversation when we checked out. Moreover, Dalat Cadasa is located on a hill about 2.5 km away from the centre Dalat Market which means this place can offer both privacy living and convenient travelling to downtown and other attractions in Lam Dong Province. It only took us around 5 minutes travelling by bikes to the market and the hotel was on the route leading to various attractions in Dalat which is closer going from the centre. Furthermore, there are 13 different villas in the property with a unique architecture, and different sizes to fit your demand. We stayed in the second largest villa with 8 rooms in total. The individual room was nice and clean, the bathroom was also really modern with amazing hot shower to wash away all the cold of Dalat. The shared living room looked like what you see in the museum of how wealthy people from the 60's in Vietnam lived. Finally, you can find the prices on the hotel's website. We had a great price of 2 millions VND a night for 1 room. We had 6 people so we decided to get two room but end up sleeping in 1 room because it's "warmer". Saying that, one room can fit 6 people with ease, but it's gonna be a bit chaos in the morning trying to fit 6 persons to a single bathroom. Other than that, it was an amazing experience with a really great deal. In conclusion, Dalat Cadasa was top of the list of our trip because of the welcoming staffs, the ancient appearance of the hotel, ideal location from the centre and other attractions, a variety of unique style villas with decent prices to choose from. I highly recommend choosing Dalat Cadasa whenever you visit Da Lat and this will give you a memorable experience while you stay there.
