1) Location is actually very good it is closer to Jomtien 2, soi 7. So if you want to go to the center just grab a tuktuk at Jomtien 1 and you'll be there in no time. There's 7/11 just round the corner, Family Mart, bars and cafeterias. Also there's a fruit market across Jomtien 2. 2) Reception staff - friendly, polite but not too professional, few of them speak good English but if you manage to get them understand you they are always ready to help you. 3) Tourists who stay there are mostly from Russia. 4) Rooms are not too big but you can also chose - the higher the floor the better the rooms (there's an elevator). Some of them have balconies. They don't clean the rooms every day but you can request the cleaning and/or turnover at the reception any time during the day. 5) Breakfast is served in the morning - regular Thai breakfast (i.e. eggs, eggs, eggs lol) 6) Free WIFI - every floor gets it's own password. 7) Important!!! Most probably your cell won't have signal if you stay at floor 1 or 2! Those who stay at floor 4 didn't have this issue. 8) There's a small pool which is open 7.00am to 7.00pm. 9) Safety box is in the room.
Generally it's an OK place to stay at for those who don't spend too much time inside.

I found this hotel to be very good value, I stayed here 5 days, and I was very happy with my room, it was well equipped with a comfortable bed, fridge, bottled water, watercooker (coffee and tea provided), cool airco, flatscreen tv with many international channels, fast wifi, and a powerful hot shower...the cute little pool was refreshing too! Friendly and helpful staff...good location and within easy walking distance to the beach and also a local market with great food just nearby! Totally recommended!

Having spent the full month of July here I was really impressed with the service and facilities , they complemented the location very well... Returning from breakfast with my boyfriend, we were confronted and stopped at the Entrance lobby by The Manager and houskeeper who shoved a phone in my face with pic of bedsheets with dubious looking stains and that I had to pay 200 bhat ( 6.00 usd) for cleaning.
I learned from an expat that this is a scheme where you are embarrassed and shamed into paying. Happens all the time!
I have left messy hotel linnen/ towels in my time,but, this time, was not the case.
The response they got from me was not the one they expected. I was embarrassed and appalled They said " no problem " no charge.

Great hotel but I would definitely recommend going for deluxe rooms as alot bigger and better value for money. Great location right at the top of soi 7 which is a five minute walk to the beach. Loads of amenities right on your doorstop including 7 11, Pharmacies and lots lots more! Very friendly staff and rooms cleaned perfectly every day. Checking out they let us store our luggage and have a shower before we had to depart many hours after Checking out.

We had bad experience on a 5 day Booking.com at Scandia Jomtien Hotel.. Difficult entry, too many up/down steps. Small room, loud a/c, old towels, small bathroom..i had almost 3 falls.. dangerous for seniors.. i requested to reduce my 5 day prepaid stay to 2 days.. we only slept 1 night there.. the receptionist arrogant, unfriendly, non copperative, totally refused to credit me for 3 days... blame me instead.. we left. Contacted Booking.com.. also no dispute involvement yet. So we loosing 4/3 days prepaid money.. well i dont know what else or who to contact to resolve this matter.. i am 82 male..

Great location, clean rooms with nice decoration, I got a upgrade for only 100 baht, good touch and super nice bakery inside this hotel.
The staff is friendly and smiling so will come back again. The beach is no e and they building it bigger so looks amazing and they about 50% finish.
