We stayed here for 10 days. Average hotel. Staff were nice, although not everyone spoke English, which made it sometimes hard to solve the problems. Hotel manager spoke good English and was very polite and made our stay good as possible. Other hotel guests were loud, so resting in this hotel was quite impossible. Restaurant was good, breakfast ok.

The Mind Resort was a good hotel if you are looking for a clean room and basic amenities. When we checked in we had booked two double rooms for a family of five and brought a cot for one of the kids. When they saw the size of our family they immediately upgraded one of our rooms to a king bed + one twin bed so that everyone had a place to sleep. The aircon in each room was sufficient and the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. For security, each room has a small safe (free of charge) and I was able to leave behind things we didn't need while we were away. The breakfast was nothing special but was adequate. They had a mix of Indian food and western foods (cereal, fried eggs, toast) and were there from 6:30 - 10. The pool was well kept and we had no issues while we were there. It is a bit of a walk from the beach (about 30 minutes), but overall a good place to relax.

It is a decent hotel...good rooms... service was slow though...food was terrible... swimming pool was good and the only highlight in the hotel... economically priced...good for large groups for a long stay...located little away from the beach area... travelling to city centre costs 200 bath for a taxi...good if you have to stay on a budget but there are many options as well

The house keeping guys are thieves. I got ripped off 2000 Bahts from my suitcase. The CCTV camera clearly showed how the housekeeping female was keeping guard giving ample time to the other female to steal but still hotel could only offer a "sorry". The Hotel is full of desperate sex starved guys and not recommended for couples. The breakfast had re-heated stale kachoris everyday and rubber type Poha made like Khichdi. One wonders how did the hotel get a Go ibibo certified Tag! The Indian waiters were arrogant, rude and behaved inappropriately with female travellers. Pathetic Hotel and Pathetic service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS Hotel Tip: DO NOT OPT FOR THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO BRING PROSTITUTES IN THE ROOM. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR BELONGINGS. THE GUYS THERE ARE SKILLED THIEVES. ITS MORE THAN 1KM WALK TO WALKING STREET / NASHAA BAR. YOU END UP PAYING 100Baht everytime you want to go to the market
