My friend and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in early June. We enjoyed every minute of it! The whole resort is really beautiful with lovely sea views, wonderful gardens and nice pool areas to choose from. I want to express my most sincerest thanks to the amazing lady in the reception, Ms Thonpakkaorn, who really made our stay a special one! She made us feel at ease and went the extra mile to guarantee we had a memorable stay. She is a true gem in the hospitality business - thank you so much!

I highly enjoyed my stay at the resort. Stayed at the Junior Suite ocean view and it was amazing. The room was super spacious and clean. The bathroom was super nice and elegant. I loved the private pavilion because you can enjoy the sunset with the ocean in the background. Definitely want to go back again!
Great experience! The hotel has a lot to offer. Loved how clean it was and how friendly the staff was as well. Club intercontinental was really great and loved having different facilities. The pools were warm and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and visit again!!
The staff all you are the best. We are stayed for 1 night and everything is perfect. Room breakfast pool location buckky car service is very good and Ms. Punnapa she's very kind and good knowledge. This is the real 5 star thanks for everything.
We travel a lot. Went here for a weekend. Wanted to unwind and enjoy the sea, the reviews and pictures were super, so we went here. Our problems started right at the reception. They requested 15000 thb deposit (no information about it anywhere though). We booked the sea view room and surprisingly we could sea the sea only if we stand on the bench in the balcony and jump! Air conditioning and charging switches off with the light, which makes it almost impossible to sleep. Hot water was not hot, one shower didn’t work. But what I liked the most was the fact that I found no towels when I went out of the shower (!) My husband called them twice and nobody came!!! I was furious. After my conversation with reception they changed the room for the room with real sea view, but the weekend was spoiled. And yes, there is no access to the sea, but the way, in fact you will use only the pool, which I can do in Bangkok too. Just avoid, very disappointing experience.…
We just returned from our first stay at the resort, to celebrate a birthday. For me this was a perfect resort in the perfect location. I felt a world away from Pattaya and that is a good thing. It is an older hotel, but as others mention the classic Thai style is wonderful and things are well maintained and cleaned. We were a bit surprised by a rapid Covid test on arrival before we could check in as this had not been disclosed as a requirement anywhere. Luckily we passed, but after a two hour car ride from Bangkok it would have been a major disappointment to not be able to check in. The new Byredo amenities are in place in the rooms and are FANTASTIC. Comfortable bed, nice towels. The only thing I missed in my room was robes. Could be a Covid thing, but hopefully those will be back soon. As an Ambassador, I was upgraded the one room level as required by the program from a garden view to an ocean view. We did receive complimentary breakfast buffet and access to the club lounge. I presume because of Spire Ambassador level, but I never know what I'm receiving because of Spire and what I'm receiving because of Ambassador. Any day now the program will receive an update with changes. Each and every staff member we encountered were fantastic. The front office, the pool attendants, and the food and beverage staff in all of the outlets. The food itself was spectacular. So much so that we never felt the desire to leave the resort and ate all of our meals on site. The menu is broad enough to never run out of options. Overall a great stay, and we will be returning for a longer stay sometime in the fall.…
Stayed their spontaneously for 5 days after we left Koh Samui for its heavy rain which we didn’t expect. So we were looking for a place to catch some more sun before heading back home and ended up at The Intercontinental Pattaya. The hotel is a very nice top 5 star hotel even though it might be a bit older it does not reflect it as it is furnished in classic Thai style which never gets old, though. There are some modern rooms it seems but as we preferred ocean view we ended up in one of the classics which was absolutely great. Pretty big room with a high ceiling. Top-notch cleaned. The bathroom does look indeed a bit older but that didn‘t bother us at all. The green tiles are actually quite cool, so if they consider to paint the wood in a more brighter color, e.g. white oak bleached it would get even a more cooler touch with a minor effort. Food is really great. Breakfast is a bit more Asian focussed but it did the deal for us. If you have an extra wish they do their best to get to you whatever you prefer. Staff is outstanding! Whether it is at the reception, shout out to Danny (hope I spelled it right) from the concierge team - he is doing a brillant job - the restaurant, the bell boys, everyone at the beach and the Spa. Not everyone is fluent in English which was a bit confusing but we never faced an issue due to that. They have three pools and a little private beach. While almost everyone stayed at the pools we literally had the beach for ourselves which was great. You cannot really swim in the ocean, it‘s a bit rocky but could as they have an access to it. Shuttle to Pattaya is offered as well for free which is great if wanna have a look what‘s going on down there. Watch-out: it is a complete different world. Even though so close to Pattaya (8 mins drive) the Intercontinental is a little oasis by itself which we enjoyed so much. It is really nice place with lots of plants and if you look left and right with all those skyscrapers it is incredible to stay there in total calm. We also considered staying at the Royal Cliff next door but somehow went for the Intercontinental which was definitely the right choice for us.…
