The beds are too firm / hard , where they are soft - it's because they are worn and old. Yukky. The breakfast was ordinary nothing special and although they say they have there own bakery - nothing seemed fresh / eggs taste stale and not enough variety ( photos on here and online like 10 yrs old - don't be fooled) skipped breakfast second day of stay. It's a resort with two pools - both close at 6pm - R U serious ?? It's 40 degree weather and you close your pools at 6pm. I specifically stayed at our hotel for the outside pool on walking Street and didn't even get a swim in either pool - disgusting abuse from staff for wanting to jump into the pool @ 5:50pm as it closes at 6pm False advertising - 24 hour room service online - room service finish @ 10 , and although I asked reception for some Cokes being room service was closed - and promised they could still do that - nothing came to room or even contacted why. They staff are rude and lazy - they didn't even let me know I had passed COVID test , if I hadn't of contacted , I wouldn't have known ( I feel this is too keep you in your room longer and needing room service charges) On check out they never supplied rat test and had to return to get this - further cost to me The resort has an open sewer running thru the middle of it and the smell is in the rooms and breakfast areas - it smells like a wiped bottom in the lobby. The same sewer you cross a bridge to get to rooms - which the bridge in the middle feels like it's going to collapse (scary) and at night time if your not careful there is blind staircase off the bridge - nearly feel down them - no lighting or visibility. The whole place is in need of major renovation and repairs - I feel they are to broke to spend the money but will take yours no issues - roughly feel needs most probably a billion baht spent or turned into a retirement home as the place is so aged Usual paint off walls , bubbles in paint, rust and rust stains, water stains and old and well used furniture I told them from start to finish - I critic hotels & stayed @ 3 others whilst there - they were not even phased ( don't care ) Do not stay here !!!

Response from Siam Bayshore Management, Guest Services / Front Office at Siam Bayshore
Responded 3 weeks ago
Dear Mr. Matthew D Thank you for sharing your feedback on your recent stay with us. Please accept our sincere apologies for not meeting your expectations during your stay in April 2022 i.e. bakery being not fresh, poor breakfast variety, room service operation hours, poor service standards, poor property maintenance standards, swimming pool operating hours and the smell from the public canal. We apologize that our Front Office personnel was unable to notify you on your PCR Test results earlier as there were heavy room guests arrivals and check-ins in the evening. Before we were able to notify you on your PCR test results, you had already called the Front Desk to ask for your test results. As Thailand begins to relaxed its COVID-19 Safety SOPs, especially from May 1, 2022 onwards, the Hotel will extend the Room Service till 22:00 Hrs, and the swimming pool will be open till 19:00 Hrs. Our Engineering Team is following their preventive maintenance schedule to carry out repair work throughout the Hotel, and this work is on-going. We have immediately addressed the shortcomings which you have highlighted with relevant department heads in the Hotel and corrective actions have been taken to improve. We appreciate your valuable feedback, as it is only through such constructive comments that we are able to monitor and improve the operations our Hotel and to provide better facilities and services to our guests. Thank you once again for your feedback and we truly hope we'll have another opportunity to impress you, as we know we're capable of so much more. Best regards, Thapanee Sudkhane (Nina) Assistant Front Office Manager

Room is clean. The bed is comfortable. The furniture look aged but still in good condition. However, the airconditioning system need to be improved as the room floor often get wet when the a/c is turned off. The a/c temperature is too cold and the thermostat seem to be useless. The breakfast offers basic items with some of them change during my two days stay. The fitness center is far from hotel building. The equipments are too old. Also, the a/c is not turned on.

Kitchen closes at 8pm and no room service even though it is advertised till 11pm. Staff do not understand English. Expensive compared to other hotels, no tour desk, only 1 pool open. No bars open in hotel.

I express my gratitude to the staff of the hotel Siam Bayshore resort, especially for Nina Thapanee. They are such hard workers - they clean and wash something all day long. So nice to come back to clean rooms. The hotel administrators are very polite - it is always a pleasure to contact them for any request.

Old rooms, must be renovated urgently, breakfast buffet very poor and bad choices of food. And the offered food is simply not good. Good location in the center but not to spend holidays here, but anyhow Pattaya is not a nice city and not need to go here. A price of USD 50-70 per night would be fair, not more!

Parents like this place very much. Quiet, very wide nature it make me don't think this is Pattaya. The swimming pool is very big, fun to play, the bedroom, the facility is complete, walking distance to the pier is convenient. Another thing about Chinese food is very delicious. recommend to try Bali Hai cold noodles. Very delicious.
