Big disappointment in this hotel, the reception staff were completely unprofessional. After arrival we needed cash, the cash machine didn’t work and they were happy to exchange our dollars to baht at a sky high rate. After a few days the cash machine still didn’t work and the staff were watching an older foreign couple struggling with getting cash out of it and didn’t tell a word them not to do so, I asked them to stop trying. It was late though, their card was swallowed. Everything is displayed in Russian, they don’t even assume that you come from another country and don’t speak Russian, however they don’t speak other languages at all. Don’t try to communicate in English, it’s a waste of time. We’ve been traveling around the world for a couple of years and seen many different types of accommodation, and we are far from being demanding people but left this place after three nights.

Overall was good, clean room, even the furnitures a bit old. Excellent beach, clean, and nice sea view. Breakfast buffet was a bit poor as not many varieties, no scramble egg or omelet but just fried eggs while our dinner by the beach was by far 10 times better. The concierge team was very kind, supportive and helpful. Worth a money to visit.

we stayed here for a week at the beginning of February, nice hotel, we booked a deluxe sea view room. The room was comfortable and a nice size with a separate area to do you hair and make up, the beds are a bit on the hard side. Nice size balcony but no balcony furniture which wasn't a problem as brought one of the chairs from the room outsize, our room had a nice view over the pool and beach. The hotel has its own beach with a safe swimming area and a good view of the santuary of truth plus a good size outside space the walk about. There is a massage place and barber shop on the grounds plus a couple of gift shops. We didn't have breakfast when we stayed so can't comment on it but the breakfast room looked clean and spacious. Round the pool there are a couple of bars lovely cocktails at a good price and and outside area to order food. Hotel a bit of a way out from central Pattaya but the hotel runs a free shuttle service to and from central plaza every hour or so. Or for the daring a motorbike taxi costs about 60bt each way. This was a good stay lovely hotel lots of family's and couples. If you don't want to get food from hotel there is a family mart plus street food and a couple of restaurants within a couple of mins walk. Didn't get Wi-Fi at the hotel, can get for free in the lobby not sure about rooms as we didn't need it. All in all enjoyed out stay and would stay again would have given 5 stars but didn't try the hotel food.

First of all, I don't know how the hotel is keeping 4 stars! Hospitality authorities should check this! Rooms are very old, dirty furniture. When we checked in our bedsheets were with lipstick. The curtains are very dirty, and overall the rooms are not comfortable . The reception (Front Desk) are unskilled employees , not helpful at all. You can not communicate English with them and don't even try to explain something to them, they dont understand. Surprisingly reception has 7-8 employees sitting all together and no idea what they are doing. The location is far away from the happenings of Pattaya. I could only say that the pool was nicely designed , but not maintained . Stray dogs can enter in the resort and walking around the pool, how hygienic is that!! I would avoid the hotel and will never stay here again.

The grounds are nice, and the location is ok, however the staff have absolutely no people skills, never mind customer service skills. They were rude, arrogant, unwelcoming and looked at us like we were muck on their shoe. They preferred sitting around doing nothing rather than helping with the most basic things. The reception staff found it a chore to check us in, and whenever we used the safety deposit box I felt like I had pulled one of their teeth out! They scowled when we ordered food, then messed up the order every time - even though they read the correct order back to us. The staff around the pool were just the same. Perhaps slightly more friendly. I got a one hour oil massage which lasted just around 30 mins and cost me 300thb. Most of the time she spent looking out the window. The rooms were pretty standard, clean and bright. No furniture on the balcony though. The choice of breakfast was average. At 300thb pp for breakfast, I’d have expected warm food. As a vegetarian, my choice of hot food was rice or toast. Again, staff seemed as though they would rather be somewhere else and congregated together at the coffee bar. The bedding wasn’t changed once and the cups weren’t cleaned from our coffees from the previous day. The water from the shower had a dirty damp smell. We did get two complimentary bottles of water in the room, which is generally standard throughout Thailand anyway. WIFI was limited to the lobby only. This was very slow. It has a private beach which was clean. However, there was jellyfish in the sea which I acknowledge the staff can’t do much about, however they sent the Russian guests into the sea with a fishing net while the staff stood on the beach and laughed. Really odd! This hotel should work well. It’s in a nice, quiet location situated in reasonable distance of restaurants, shopping etc. The pool was lovely and right on a private beach, however the staff let it down that much that we checked out 6 days early and went to a new location!

First, the good points - view of Sanctuary of Truth from beach is great - pool is good - lobby is open and airy - staff was nice - shops were nice Now for the not so nice points - beach was dirty (and it is private, so should be clean) - TV was terrible, only one channel was clear... the others you could barely see (told front desk but nothing) - air condition was almost non existent (set on 10 Celsius, but was never cool) - shower was either way too hot or cold while showering - room was out dated (but clean) Hotel has such potential and could be such a great place, but needs work. My wife and I will not stay here again - beware! 2 out of 5 is actually over rating them a little - I rounded up!!!

I visited this place in December with family. I had a sea view room, I must say that the view was awesome. Beach is right at the resort, swimming pool is huge. Rooms were nicely done with all basic amenities. Housekeeping and other services were great. Checkin and checkout was smooth. It is located in peaceful area, good place to relax, it is bit far from main city but you can hire car from any of the many travel agencies operating in the area. Breakfast was good, there are very good restaurants just outside the resort. Sanctuary of truth is at walkable distance. Overall pleasant experience.

Our room was with beautiful view - to the garden. But it was so dirty! The mirror was with stains and other furniture were with dust. The sink was always clogged. There were no wi-fi in the room, only in the lobby. Breakfast and its quality was good. But the stuff... They hardly speak english or russian. When we had our last day in the hotel and we had to go the girl in the lobby didn't let us go and we didn't undarstand why! The bus with other people was waiting about 40 minutes! When we asked how long we have to wait she answered-10 minutes. After these 10 minutes we asked it again and she said again 10 minutes! And so on. We were bso angry! Garden Sea View Resort had a good location - near the sea and with private beach. But always when we went to the beach or pool there were no free beach chairs. I don't recommend this hotel!
