We were treated like royalty from arrival to check out. The staff was extremely helpful to meet all of our needs, including fun activities, transportation, relaxation and required exit travel testing. The property and the suites are luxurious and extremely comfortable. My kids loved the kids club and teen club. Ideal property for a family vacation or romantic getaway!
It is not often that one feels able to write a review prior to the completion of a holiday. However in the case of the Royal Wing and Spa Hotel, it is always possible. As very long time annual vacationers here (except obviously in 2021) we have always found everything to be "par excellence". The staff are the friendliest one could ever expect and the standards never drop from one visit to the next. It is a "home from home" as one is recognised and acknowledged by all the regular employees who have been at the hotel for years, which speaks a great deal for the management, currently led by the excellent Thibault Sellier and backed up by newcomer Netrada, both of whom cannot do enough to make sure everything is running smoothly for you. In these still difficult times for tourism in Thailand, it is exceptionally sad to see the hotel virtually empty, but this has had no effect on the service or attention of the terrific staff, be they in reception, the dining areas, housekeeping, pool butlers, and even the spa who have some amazingly experienced therapists. The Thailand Pass scheme is about to be re-introduced, allowing easier access again to the country and so come to Pattaya and the Royal Wing for a "regal" experience which you will not forget and want to return to every year, just as we do. The hotel were instrumental in assuring a smooth arrival in Thailand from the moment we landed, with secure transport from the airport, taking us to the hospital for the initial PCR test on the way to the hotel, until the final 5th day PCR test, so this should encourage those who are worried about arrival procedures to make sure you book for the Royal Wing. We used to laugh at people that returned to the same hotel time after time. But now, every year we head back to the Royal Wing because we simply haven't found anywhere that compares to it. When we get there, we meet many other returning guests who clearly feel the same way. The staff have a burning desire to please, they do this not for tips, but out of a genuine desire to make their guests' stay as pleasurable as possible. The management team is superb, Thibault Sellier the resident manager is completely approachable and his assistant, the wonderful Natrada took away all the hassle of our visa extension and organised anything that we asked of her, she even supervised the pâtissier in making a special cake for us. A day in the Royal Wing is a joy from start to finish. Breakfast is pretty well anything that we want, as much choice as a buffet but beautifully served at a table on the terrace. The hotel has a huge pool and sunbeds are reserved for your complete stay with more than enough parasols. The pool butlers come round regularly with iced water and fruit skewers and adjust the parasols to keep you out of the sun. The head pool butler is Tassanee, and she is just magnificent, she knows exactly what every guest likes and remembers everything for ever. Lunch is served around the pool or on the terrace with a massive choice of western and Asian dishes, there is a lovely line on the menu that says ’Classics available’ which basically means you can have virtually anything you want. The hotel is on a complex with 3 other hotels in the Royal Cliff group, so dining presents a wide variety of choice, all the restaurants are amongst the best in Pattaya and surprisingly inexpensive. Our visit started in January when the hotel was emerging from the restrictions of Covid, it was a delight to see the hotel re-emerging from the pandemic with the same long standing and loyal staff as before. I have been lucky enough to stay again at the Royal Wing Suites & Spa this month. Despite lengthy and continuing Covid adversity these fantastic people delivered another incomparable experience. Thibault Sellier and his staff are the most professional hotel team we have ever seen. The courtesy and friendliness these wonderful people achieve give them every right to 6 stars or more. We have never been made to feel more welcome nor had our needs met so perfectly (usually before we knew we had a need!) in any other hotel. The rooms are stunning and perfectly appointed. All have breathtaking sea views. The pool is private and luxurious - and also with a great sea view. And I extend a special thank-you to Mr Douglas Glen - the new-ish General Manager of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group. Having been the recipient of some of his bounteous brilliance I know his involvement will maintain and foster the fantastic Royal Cliff brand. Thank-you to every staff member. I will be back. We arrives with my daughters on the 19th of December and due to the Test&Go process spent the first night in isolation in our room. Luckily, we got our negative PCR test in the evening and managed to enjoy the hotel from the breakfast the day after. The staff is what makes the difference in this hotel. The have done everything to make our stay unforgettable. As an exemple, I had an issue with my air ticket and the concierge spent one hour on the phone with my airline to fix everything. What a service. Due to Covid, the hotel was with very limited customer and we had the entire pool for the 3 of us. Dear Thibault (the hotel manager), if you read this, please reward your team for me. I haven't been in a 5 star hotel with such an amazing staff for a long time. Congrats
Our 4D3N weekend was overwhelmed by Royal wing staffs with extraordinary service and courtesy. They all remember us matched with our room number as well as our selected menu. All departments harmonized work for the best service for us. Room are flawless cleaned and everyday fresh fruits served. Guaranteed that we will come back and recommended you guys all take here as your second home ❤️❤️
Absolutely loved it here and gutted Thailand has turned red again! You get treated like royalty from all the staff it's fantastic. The service is on point and it felt like home. A real find and fantastic for families and friends

Hi, Today I’ll share good moment at Royal Cliff Hotel. I have chance to visit in there often but I feel this time is make me very impressive so much because in this trip had surprised anytime but really I need to said thank you from my real heart to you because anything couldn’t happen if without you. You make me and my family so impressive since we arrived to hotel anybody very welcoming me also rooms members in my family so happy. In the evening in day 2 we had dinner at the beach, first time I saw that can think the one idea so aesthetically. Every element too perfect but the most important we trust you very much because have important moments such us surprised birthday of me and grandmom but the highlight is had porpose marriage and anybody cooperate well. And the one thing have to refer about foods so delicious if you have ever to been there you need to try it. And the last one make me feel good is souvenir (A plate of gold engraved with our name ) . The last I don’t regrets at all is choose they take care our in vacation and I’m glad to have spend time my holiday in there.
