Arrived late so I agreed to stay even though the lobby photos shown on web site were obviously an artist rendering. This hotel resembles a bombed out building in a 3rd world country. The photos shown are actual pictures of the property from November 2018. Many of the rooms are just shells and the room I stayed in did not have adequate AC. No lift. All of those things would have been ok at the price point but the stairs from the lobby to the rooms are actual blocks loosely stacked and I almost busted my ankle as they are completely unsafe. I checked out 2 days early and the management refused to return my money but getting ripped off for $70 is better than a broken ankle. Also, when I arrived the front desk clerk who was rude insisted I pay cash.

This hotel is an island of calm surrounded by the calamity of Walking Street , Staff are friendly and helpful , location to nightlife cannot be bettered and all within a very reasonable price range. Set off Walking Street down a driveway . Also has a shaded seating area available outside . I enjoyed my stay.

I arrived a little stressed. The driver dropped me off at the entrance to Walking St instead of at the back. It's possible to get there from around the back of the Soi - but the driver wouldn't go there. Anyway, I managed somehow to set off the alarm within about 10 mins of being in the room. Pro-top: always ask for the safe key! All up this hotel is in a good location for Walking St but that's about it. It's surprisingly quiet and very relaxed. Reception staff are friendly and the place seems secure.

My friend had a minor wound on his leg and left small stain of blood on the bed sheet. When the cleaner saw it, she shouted at my friend impolitely and asked for 100 baht from my friend for extra cleaning. She wanted my friend to pay it to her personally but my friend insisted to pay it at reception when checking out. When we checked out, the receptionist inter-com the cleaner for discussion and asked for a higher amount (300 baht) for extra cleaning. My friend insisted that the cleaner told him earlier it was 100 baht, or else we would talk to the manager. The receptionist then discussed with cleaners again and accepted 100 baht from my friend. We were unhappy that it seemed like a scam and the cleaner should have talked nicely. And, when we asked the cleaners to clean our rooms earlier, they showed unhappy faces towards us. We were angry that the cleaners seemed to think that we should be subject to their superiority. The air-cons in our rooms were old with noisy sound and water-leakage. When our towels were dirty, we asked for change but the receptionist was reluctant to change the towels for us, giving excuse that he didn't have key for locker. He only gave in to our request after we insisted. Overall, we felt that we were not appreciated nor respected, and not treated with honesty.

The apartment is very nice and tidy. Rooms are also very spacious. But if talk about its facilities then the apartment seems to be pricey. They don't have lifts, electric kettles, breakfast. The staff is no doubt very cooperative and humble. But you can definitely find better place in much lesser price on Walking Street.
