I booked as a couple as the price was same and that helped since i did not have to pay the joiner fee for bringing a lady in to the room.
Clean, great price for service
Spacious room
Perfect swimming pool and very popular
Very central for both Pattaya and Jomtien
The hotel was almost empty in this season
No scam, no attempt to charge me extra

I informed the captain of receptionist & asked to see the duty manager of hotel as she tried to do not understand. 5 calls & 20 minutes I got "he will call you within 5 minutes". No one called me then.
I informed my tour-guide & asked him to translate my story to the captain again, at the end I be promised to review the security tape before 7a.m on next day.
6:30, I was at lobby and be informed the hotel IT man had not come yet, I should wait until 9a.m :-) even all they knew I had to check out before 7a.m.
I left my friend's information who is also working in hotel field in Pattaya and told them "on behalf of me, my friend will come to see the tape at 12:00".
So disappointed, my friend got nothing when he came. No one knew anything :-) as he said
Before leaving Thailand, I called many times to the hotel and strongly requested to talk with the hotel's manager. All what I got is hotel manager is not here, he will be back hotel tomorrow, call him later...
It's a game show as I was a victim of them. No one has any responsibilities from boss to staff even they promised
Up to now, already a week either I or my friend be called or my story be solved.
Please do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.
I am working for a travel agent, I think I should share what I got at Camelot Hotel Pattaya to all my clients & all travelers who intend to stay in this hotel.
There are a hand full tv channels, Chinese, Russian, French, Arab, Thai. English? well there is a bad church or bible channel and nothing else. CNN should be there too but it does not work! 3 times tried to fix, most of the time no signal. Unacceptable, given that there are many English speaking customers too.
I stayed there with my girlfriend. At night, she got molested by the security guard who did not want to believe that she is no prostitute but hotel guest! The front desk watched it with no intervention whatsoever!!
They actually try to get some extra money from guests who take a prostitute to their room.
Upon checkout, they could not find one of the two coffee spoons! Lots of discussion, they dared to charge it to me, after I stayed a long time in this hotel and even extended my stay and certainly did not take that spoon. Greedy Chinese-Thai management, charging 50 Baht for a 5 Baht cheap spoon, totally not caring about the guest! Ignorants who obviously did not understand that a happy and always returning customer is so much more worth that 45 Baht stolen money!
Thai style of non existing hospitality combined with Chinese style of Cheap-Charlie behaviour.
Not worth to stay here, there are probably thousand hotels in Pattaya, keep away if you want nice holidays.
1 night was enough. The place was a reminder of past grandeur and bought to mind the ballroom in the "Titanic". It really needs to have some money spent on it to bring it up to standard. The rooms were small, cluttered and dark with the worst bed i have ever slept in. The bathrooms were a disaster, low waterflow from the showers and again dark. The door staff although not rude gave the impression you were interfering with their day.
English skills of concierge and front desk staff were nowhere near the standard of other hotels in Thailand i have visited.Quite poor
Quality of breakfast was not good. Had toast and watered down juice and went and got something to eat on the street.
Cant really think of a good thing to say about the place.
