I have stayed here for 3 nights, its a very good hotel. Very short walk to beach and very calm place. Away from walking street, Buffet breakfast is good but may not suitable for Indians. Pool is very big, from my room pool view and sea view is nice.

I have stayed here over a seven year period for about 10 days/year. The positives include the fact that it is a short walk to the beach. It is far from the congestion of Pattaya and Jomtien, but they are a short ride away. The bus connection to the airport is also convenient. And, very importantly, the par 3 -... More

This Hotel is good If you want to relax because it's quiet and far from the noise source but breakfast buffet are little. You must find another restaurant for breakfast if you want to charge your energy from breakfast.

Those holidaymakers considering a stopover at the Sea Orchid Hotel, are advised to give the place a complete miss. This once delighful establishment has now been grossly disfigured thanks to a towering extension that is currently being constructed - and only an arms length from the swimming pool. The owners have deemed it appropriate to hike up the price for... More

At the first sight it was a bit disappointing, just like one review (before the trip) said, the hotel is not as shiny as the management-provided photos suggest. Be prepared for some occasional signs of wear and tear, like a part of wall in need of fresh paint, rust on room lamp, etc.. Tile surfaces of the public floors, in... More

An excellent report by michaelkinghorn just about sums up the Sea Orchid and i endorse all he has to say. I first stayed here about 4 years ago and have returned several times and never been dissapointed. The location away from the city center is great for a quiet break and it's easy enough to get around anyway. The only... More

This hotel is a little outside the hustle and bustle of Pattaya but is ideal. They have a car pak too. You wouldn't find that in the city centre. I would hate to stay in central Pattaya. Taxi fare into the centre was about £1 I think. Pool was good, rooms were good and so was the breakfast. Only downside... More

It was in November 2010 that I was last at the Sea Orchid Hotel, and, 18 months on, I couldn't wait to return. I loved the accommodation first time around and with family already staying there for the fortnight before my arrival, I was assured that little had changed. My chosen combination of flights saw me arriving at the hotel... More

The hotel is well maintained and was very clean throughout and room servicing was excellent. The mini bar prices and laundry service was reasonably priced also. Breakfast was varied and on the whole perfectly satisfactory during my recent 5 night stay. The only real drawback is the location but a short stroll downhill towards the beach will find 2 locations... More

“The 53 rooms are spread across five floors, with the pool access rooms on the bottom floor and the sea view rooms on the top floor incurring a small additional charge. For the extra, I highly recommend the pool access room, offering direct access onto the pool deck. The hotel also offers deluxe rooms on floors two to five, which again cost a small amount more.”

  • Very reasonable mini-bar prices.
