Well its a budget hotel so dont expect huge luxory. I was on the top floor and there was no elevator but its ok I am young and no problem climbing the stairs. The staff are hit and miss, some are friendly others are not. The location is right in the heart of the action, so yes the street is full of massage places and BJ bars. You can bring one guest free per day to this hotel which is a nice option if you travel alone.

The room was satisfactory for the price BUT I have never encountered such horrible behaviour from staff. The main woman on reception was incredibly rude- ignoring my questions, snapping, short tempered, lazy. She sees her job as playing on her phone and work just gets in the way. Miserable face and embarrassment to her employers! Unfortunately, her employers know she is so vile. As well the German "owner" was drunk at the counter and "jokingly" threatened me for being nasty to his staff!?!?!? NOTE TO OWNER- TIME TO WAKE UP AND SACK THE STAFF MEMBER AND DON;T HANG AROUND YOUR HOTEL DRUNK AND THREATENING YOUR GUESTS

I stayed in a standard room for 16 nights. The staff were ok but the room wasnt nice. Mould on ceilings and smelt damp. Had added guests in the room many cockroaches. The aircon broke down and I was moved to another room. Again needed a good decorate. Mouldy ceilings. Sheets pulled back every day but not changed after several days. The area is a nightmare constant hassle from ladyboys and other prostitutes. Wouldn't return.

Stayed there and all great. Location Room Staff. Price incredible value. Walk to the close nightlife but room with quiet air and double windows. I could not believe the high rating for the price, but its true. Boss also attentive and speaks lots of languages.

I lodged 28 nights at Chaiyapoon Inn and enjoyed my stay immensely. My 4 weeks were spent in Room 204, which is a studio flat, with a well-equipped kitchen on the back side of the hotel, a quiet room, large comfortable bed, excellent WiFi. And maybe the world's best housekeeping staff, they were always flexible about cleaning my room, sometimes I did not vacate the room until after 2:00 p.m. and they even washed my dirty dishes each day. Staying at Chaiyapoon Inn was the best part of being in Pattaya for me. I was really impressed with its friendly, helpful and professional staff, especially all the Receptionists and enoyed reading the English version of daily Bangkok Times on the front lounge. Chaiyappon Inn is located on 'Soi Chaiyapoon', a private street, and not well-maintained, it is known locally as 'Soi Pothole' or 'Soi Bumpy', but that reduces vehicle traffic so the street is more quiet than most, but near LK Metro, Soi Buakhow, a great location and all the taxi drivers seemed to know where it was, so how perfect is that? Highly recommended.
