I am traveling with my 9 and 5 years old son, which badly love Swimming. So we booked this hotel due to the pool in every villa. We stayed in Villa number Three (3), in which i really recommend as there is a special wooden walk way down from the room into the rain forest in front of the room and once you are out then you will find a very special spot of this hotel. Thai Food at Hue restaurant was really good and reasonable.
We stayed at Cape Fahn in late December, and hotel wise it was the highlight of our honeymoon. We also stayed on the mainland and in the Maldives. We arrived by boat and were greeted with an upgraded room, which was a lovely bonus. Unfortunately the weather was not great for our three day stay, but it meant we got to enjoy the room and the hotel facilities even more. (As a side note we did have 7 out of 9 sunny days in Thailand). The whole resort felt classy, and it has been designed very tastefully. The rooms are stunning. Modern, with light colours used and nice touches everywhere you look. The highlight of the rooms though are the mattresses. Without doubt the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!! I would thoroughly recommend the massages. After our first massage we did a lucky dip with the therapist and I pulled out a half priced return massage. My wife pulled out a free afternoon tea. All these little touches go a long way. What makes this resort extra special though are the staff. The managers Olivier and Timo were fantastic hosts and always made sure we were looked after, without being intrusive. Everyone from the cleaners, to the chefs, were so friendly and helpful and they could not do enough for us. Talking of chefs, you will not get better food on Koh Samui. The chef had a Michelin star in Bangkok and has opened up his new restaurant on the resort. We had some stunning meals there. Not expensive either. Breakfast also had a great choice and variety. We learnt how to cook a traditional Thai dessert one day, and they also have happy hour cocktails every early evening. All in all I would thoroughly recommend Cape Fahn. Aside from all the above, it is also well located for Fisherman's village, boat trips, and a number of beach clubs etc if you wanted to venture out one day or night. Ross & Bex…
Very nice view. And warm welcome from staff especially Khun Tea who introduce this paradise to know each of place. It is amazed to visit. Restaurant got a Chef from michelin star who create food so quarantee how delicious it is. Will visit again for sure.
I had the chance to visit the spa at this wonderful resort twice, the last time just before I returned to Bangkok. Khun Tu was the best therapist I have met so far. Everything she did was 5stars. She has very good techniques, pays attention to details and the spa room was very nicely prepared. The whole atmosphere at this hotel makes you feel wonderful. I will visit the spa at this hotel every time I go back to Koh Samui. I hope Khun Tu will still be there. Thank you very much!
We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids. The room we had was the Horizon Oceanview pool villa. The view was awesome. And the balcony was spacious. Apart from great view, it could perfectly fit 2 extra-beds for my kids, which was ideal for big kids. The hospitality of staffs was very friendly. Nice glasses with drinking water, sometimes special Homemade drink were served with a plate of juicy tropical fruits whenever we were on the beach or by the main pool. The hotel is on its own island which makes it very unique. The kids were exciting when transferring back and forth the island by a amphibious truck. This place is ideally for relaxation. The food and drinks here were excellent too. One thing not to be missed is the Floating breakfast! It was really nice.
