Visited We Briza for 3 nights, rooms are clean and tidy, bathroom could use some work. 7-eleven is 3 minutes away and it takes around 10 minutes to the city centre. Breakfast is included and is better then i expected.
Me and my partner stay in we briza for 4 nights. The staff was ok, but many of them don’t speak English. Our room was on the 6 floor, clean, the mini fridge didn’t worked. the kitchen is in the 7 floor, So very early isn’t the morning, like 5am, they start to prepare the breakfast so there was a lot of noise. The pool is inside, so you can’t get some sun. The breakfast is mainly Asian food, don’t have milk or cheese or ham. Just some eggs and bread. But there is a lot of Asian food.
Rooms are ok, everything is clean, my room had two small beds, air conditioning and tv. Also good WiFi connection in the whole hotel. Breakfast is very Asia oriented, not a lot of options. The swimming pool is nice but it’s in the lobby of the hotel so not a lot of privacy. The personnel is very attentive and tries to help but not all of them speak English not Spanish. The hotel is really close to a local food market, not really for tourists. And you would need to walk several blocks to get to downtown, but it’s a nice area if you want to see local life. It is a good option for the price, but there are other places in the middle of the city that may be better for those visiting Chiang mai for a couple of days.
So we stayed in this we briza for 5 nights and it was decent for the price. But some of the staff were rude at times especially on check in and on check out. The pool is in a common area of the hotel literally right next to reception and it’s tiny! We went for breakfast a couple of times it was OK just glad it had eggs 😂 but all in all better staff needed ( with a smile ) mainly on reception. as cleaning staff and breakfast staff were friendly we thought.. if you are on a serious budget I would recommend this place if not then I’d say try somewhere else. Location was good! Quite Close to night market :)
I stayed here with my partner for 3 nights during our visit to Chiang Mai. From the beginning everything was wrong. First of all I booked a double room and was bitterly disappointed when we received a room with 2 single beds. The room itself was very outdated. The drain for the shower was at the Other side of the bathroom, so whenever we showered the whole bathroom would get flooded. This was an awful hazard and I slipped on the tiles, only for landing on the toilet I would’ve been seriously hurt. There was no safe in the room which was a disappointment for us when we were travelling with money and passports. In the room there was also no kettle or tea/ coffee making facilities. To make tea or coffee it cost 100 baht to get a set from the hotel. As a person who has been to numerous hotels in many countries I have never before seen this. We were only given 1 key for the hotel room. If this was lost or misplaced there was a 1000 baht fine. Once again never before have I seen such a gimmick. The hotel itself was also a disaster. The pool is situated in the middle of the lobby with no privacy. The breakfast only included rice, chicken and veg. There was no fruit selection, breads or cereal. The WiFi in the hotel was a disaster, every time we left the WiFi and came back we had to re-enter the password and username. At that it was still very slow. The biggest downfall/ problem for us was the fact that we requested late check out from 12pm to 3pm as our flight was late and we were told this would cost 500 baht. Never before have I seen such a practice take place especially in a hotel during off season. I am bitterly disappointed with my stay here and certainly will never again return. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.…
