Detailed Reviews
Small and fine hotel off the main road in a very quiet location. The house is relatively new and tastefully furnished in a modern style.
The staff is friendly and courteous.
The free bicycle service is worth mentioning, with which the central places of Chiang Mai can be easily reached.

The room was spacious, clean, and had a nice view. The location was extremely close to the station (within walking distance) and a little bit longer of a walk and your downtown. The staff was helpful in letting me check in slightly early and hold my bags my last day so I could explore my last day. They even provided a new year's present to celebrate the spirit! Highly recommend!!

It was 2 nights and 3 days staying in this wonderful place. I was there during weekdays so it was quite quiet, but private enough to lay my tiring body down on the comfortable pillow and bed. The architecture is reminded me of something oriental but mixed with traditional Lanna. This place is in the small alley, though, but not far from the main road where you can find many good cafes and restaurants surrounded. And one more wonderful thing is you can walk to enjoy the Ping river within 2-3 mins!
Thanks for having me here, hopefully to visit and stay here again. :)

We stayed for 6 nights at the hotel. It was handy to everything. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were quiet but helpful.
The breakfast each morning was very nice, and complimentary bicycles with baskets were charming.
My only little negative was the bed was very hard!

Our stay at CHU hotel was beyond exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the impeccable service throughout, every moment felt personalized and genuine. The staff's attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond made my experience truly memorable. The room was not just comfortable but also meticulously maintained. I left feeling not just like a guest, but like a valued friend. I can't wait to return and relive this wonderful experience again.
Anytime I’m in Chiang Mai I’ll make sure to stop by. Keep up all the good work.

The hotel and staff is nice. Room clean and the air fresh. We can borrow bicycle to ride around the city.
Refrigerator and air conditioner are a bit loud at night. The reception area has mosquitoes. Everything else is great for a quiet and gentle stay.

Quiet and very nice and peaceful atmosphere. In a walking distance to nice cafe’ and market. Room is clean and big which space is more than enough for two or even with small children. Staff at the lobby and dining room are very nice too.

Big room compare to most of the hotel in Chiang Mai will same price. Great location as it was near the center of the city. Many cafe and resturant around the corner. Staff was so helpful and nice. But water pressure is a bit low. Another problem is we can easily hear nebiour voice at night.

+1
We stayed at this hotel during the Loy Krathong festival in Chiang Mai, November 2015.
The Room:
- Extremely comfortable bed, especially compared to other beds in Asia. Large size. Soft bedding with extra pillows.
- A full size fridge, cabinet space, dishes, and a sink. There is a small table and chairs.
- Up-to-date television and appliances.
The Bathroom:
- GORGEOUS! The shower is open to the room, with the floor having a drain. A rainfall shower that has excellent pressure. A large bathtub located adjacent to the shower area.
- The blow dryer works well! This may seem minor, but this blow dryer actually dries your hair quickly with enough power.
The Grounds:
- Well designed lobby. They bring you a drink and cookies upon your arrival.
- Picnic tables outside. Enough space to park cars and scooters.
The Breakfast:
- A small selection of Asian delicacies, a large selection of fresh fruit, some baked goods such as homemade donuts and muffins.
- They prepare a "BLT" sandwich for you, ready upon arrival. I loved it!
The Staff:
- Extremely accommodating. Met us at the curb to handle our bags. Drew us maps around the city to find what we needed. Called our cabs and/or an excursions we had booked.
The Location:
- Could not have been better! You are one block off the main road, which helps keep the busyness and the noise down.
- 15 minute walk to the Night Bazaar and then you can easily walk into the Old City. We walked around before renting scoots to scoot around further.
