This hotel is placed in an ideal location to visit a lot of attractions on foot. A slight mix up in prices (staff charging extra at the POS) at the beginning was slightly unnerving but after 2 days I'm sure it was a genuine mistake as the service from then on was exemplary. Boutique style room with an authentic bathroom... More

That is what Banthai means. This is a gem, a veritable oasis. Do not be disappointed by the Soi because the Banthai Village Complex of 4 houses made of wood is an entirely different thing. Soi 3 will grow on you because this is Asia and everything has its appropriate fascination. The Soi leads to the man Road, Tapae. We... More

We stayed in a family room for 5 nights The staff were lovely but I wasn't very impressed by the actual hotel The hotel is divided into 2 sections Divided by a small street Our section had a very small pool which we didn't use & wasn't particularly inviting The family room was actually 2 adjoining rooms which was big... Stayed here a few nights ago after spending 3 days in Bangkok- it was the perfect little hotel tucked away in Chiang Mai for some peace quiet. It has a very boutique feel, nice pool, friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for a few nights while staying in Chiang Mai.

Ban Thai Village is a nice hotel and pretty close at most of, whatever you want to do in Chiangmai (night bazar market, the old city, some of the most exciting temples and even the red light district, if this is the goal of your journey). The room we had (127, upper floor) was spacious and quiet. Cleaning was great... More

We don't have a heater in all rooms due to we situated... More

Lovely hotel, clean, comfortable. Great staff. Peaceful stay in a busy city. Would definately stay again. Good base to explore the city from. Although, all bars close at 12 midnight. Excellent markets to visit.

We enjoyed this hotel as a haven from the bustling Chiang Mai. They also set up a nice honeymoon welcome on our bed. The decor is very "Lanna style" meaning dark wood and dark rooms. I normally prefer very bright and sunny rooms so this wasn't my preferred style. I would not call is super luxurious, the area is a... More

This was a lucky choice! I was looking for something centrally located in terms of the Old City and the Night Market and this venue is perfect for that! Some might consider the rooms to be a bit quirky but I think that is part of the hotel's effort to give an authentic Thai feel to one's experience there. Breakfast... More

This hotel is perfect for a quiet respite in Chiang Mai. The rooms are spacious and are designed to be comfortable. The pool is refreshing and there is even live Thai traditional music in the afternoons. The only two drawbacks are that breakfast is not included (although hotel guests received a discount coupon) and that receptionists charge a fee whenever... More

Great place to stay in town with full bar. Short walk to the wall around town and night bazaar. Nice pool and nightly soothing music by pool. Laundry place right out the back door that is very reasonable. A lot of restaurants and street food close by. Nice clean comfortable rooms.
