I highly recommend a visit to Chiang Mai for those who live in Thailand during these Corona virus times. There are no international tourists so it is very quiet. I highly recommend The Grace House Hotel which is near the gorgeous Ping River and lots of great places to eat. I have visited many times and this June I stayed for 10 nights. This hotel is very good value and in a great location. Clean rooms with enough space. Great breakfast in a lovely cafe. Efficient and friendly family run the place. There is no noise from traffic as it is set back from the main road on a quaint narrow lane.

This is hostel not a hotel , the location is good but other then that noting is good , the bathroom is the size of a closet, with no door for the shower, The beds are hard the pillows are hard the breakfast was way below average, no staff spoke English the owner speaks some , but nothing about this place is worth staying at , the room has bug, ants in it , when we asked to move to a better room they said all rooms are the same , when we asked for a refund so we could move to a better hotel then said no , the towels are very well worn , the ac works well but the wifi was terrible, over all don’t stay here unless you are looking for a hostel, and then I think you can find cheaper and better places , shame on them for advertising that they are 3 star hotel ,

Stayed for 4 nights recently. I was unfortunate to experience very inconsiderate guests who would talk loudly at 3am and make a lot of noise. This happened two nights in a row and my sleep was affected quite badly but the staff were very kind and sympathetic to me the next day. This hotel is very good value and in a great location. There is no noise from traffic as it is set back from the main road. I will stay there again.
