Stayed for 3 nights in August 2016. Unless you are in the more private and luxurious suites on a different side of the property, all the superior rooms are clustered around a teeny garden courtyard that doubles as a swimming and breakfast area. Shewe Wana is a great place to get some much needed relaxation and culture. The staff is absolutely phenomenal and willing to recommend places to see and things to do. The resort is centrally located to enable walking to sites all around the city. Extremely clean and relaxing

The hotel grounds and pools were beautiful and relaxing. After a long day at the elephant nature...

Breakfast was lovely and the feeling of tranquility that was achieved exceptional, considering the main road into the old town was on your front doorstep. The hotel staff know that the hotel is a dusty walk into town and couldn't...

As soon as we walked in we had to take a moment to...
