After reading other reviews I was very excited about staying here, however all in all, for the price we paid relative to the price of staying at a five star hotel in Chiang Mai, I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it to a friend. The pros: The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel restaurant... More

This was a very nice hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. My balcony overlooked the center garden. The morning breakfast was good and included a wide variety of food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great. I was able to easily walk to restaurants as well as the night markets. If I go back... More

I had chance to stay here for few days and what I love about this hotel is the location, I could start walking from hotel to visit many places in old town easily and also getting to Night bazaar and walking street. All staffs were very helpful and friendly. I will not be hesitate to stay with you again next... More

We booked this hotel through a on-line service and found it double booked, we cancelled one, we confirmed in writing with the hotel that the one booking was still valid, upon arrival we found both bookings had been cancelled. Staff assured us that the on-line price stood, however on check-out the price went up, about $30AUD a night. The room... More

This is a hotel located in the center of the old city. If you stay there, be sure to include breakfast as there isn't much around and they do not open early. The rooms are average and you need to be sure you have bug spray since the mosquitos get through the door (it does note close completely). You want... More

Hidden behind a high unassuming wall from the street, this super hotel is not what you think behind the cloak. A really super place with clean, lovely big rooms, great service and the restaurant is a gem. Would have loved to have recommended this separately as in its own right it stands on its own. Brilliant 5 star cuisine at... More

Seriously great, stay here, avoid the other larger hotels with bigger names. Beautiful pool, nice staff, comfortable large air conditioned standard rooms with big tubs & showers. Located 200 feet from the best 1 hour $5 USD foot massage we've ever had. Close to free sight seeing at the temples and night bazzar. Felt like a comfortable oasis every night... More

We loved Chiang Mai. It's a nice blend of city life and outdoor activities. The temples here are different from Bangkok. There is a sense of serenity here. The Bodhi Serene is nicely located in the old city. There are good restaurants close and the temples are within walking distance. The staff at the hotel are helpful and friendly. Our... More

My mum and I visited Chiang Mai in June and The Bodhi Serene Hotel was exactly what we were looking for. A good sized quiet hotel in the Old City close enough to walk around the old city easily and to the markets. Breakfast was great, lots of options from western to asian food. It is served on the ground... More

For our first time in Chiang Mai, this was a great choice of resort. As so many others have mentioned, it is a fabulous location and we walked to most places every day. The room had all that we needed with a lovely balcony overlooking the central green area. The air-con worked well and the rooms were well serviced on... More
