We stayed here in late August and again in Sept, and this would rate as the most friendly, helpful staff we have meet in any hotel in ten years of travel in Asia, they went out of there way to assist and make the stay here more enjoyable, from the luxury pick-up vehicle to a surprise birthday cake and card.... We loved staying at Rimping Village. The hotel is small (only 34 rooms) and it is easy to get around from there. As in most hotels, we saw beautiful orchids placed everywhere. The pool area is well used and we found our room spacious and light. The breakfast catered for mainly Western tastes and offered enough by way of variety.... More

Booked their entry-level superior room for two night stay over a weekend. Great rates (booked through Agoda website) which include everything essentially! First, the room itself. King-size bed was huge. A little hard on the back but still very nice to lie on. The room is excellently equipped with most of what you could hope for in a great hotel.... More

A fantastic place to stay. We were here for our honeymoon and were not disappointed. It is only 600m from the central markets, superb staff, great restaurant. It's hard to believe that such a nice place is so close to town. Love this place!!!!

I really do not know what I should complain about this hotel... I think I am a very picky hotel guest but Rimping Vilage was really good: - great location: quiet but close to the busy and noisy city center - excellent room - strong wifi - good choice at breakfast - wonderful, excellent and helpful staff - everything spotlessly... We stayed at Rimping for only one night after 3 nights in a quiet village outside of Chiang Mai and loved it. The hotel is beautifully laid out around the pool (which was quiet while we were there). We stayed in a family room which was more than adequate with good space, a king size bed and two singles, a... More

Stayed @ the Rimping Village after reading all the Trip Advisor reviews, and I must say, they were right!!! The customer service here is unlike any other place We have ever stayed at anywhere. NOTHING was too much to ask for. They will arrange everything that you want to do in Chiang Mai and surrounding area, down to even getting... More

Rimping Village wasn't perfect, but it was extremely good. I will stay there again next time. The location is nice and quiet, and it's easy to get tuk tuks or songtheaws from the nearby main road, but it is a bit of a walk from the old city. The breakfast was slightly basic, but they had mango sticky rice at... More

There were so many places to choose from in Chiang Mai that it was nearly impossible to decide. But we choose here and we are so happy we did. We were on a budget because we want to spend more at the end of our trip which will be in Koh Samui and Koh Tao so we wanted a place... More

We had a great time at the Rimping. When reading other reviews I was expecting the place to be a lot further away from the epicenter of Chiang Mai than it actually was. I loved the amount of attention you get from front desk in helping you organizing your trip. Breakfast was absolutely great especially their scrambled eggs and omelette!... More
