Rimping Village is located in the city centre, close to the historic attractions the city offers including the famous Night Bazaar and the charming Watgate community by the Ping River. Enjoy an atmosphere of relaxation that is part and parcel of the Northern tradition. A cool, refreshing swimming pool is placed below a huge banyan tree so that guests can absorb the mood of nature while finding relief from the tropical heat.

This little hotel is very convenient to the city centre, yet it seems so quiet and secluded. A 15/20 minute stroll takes you to the famous Sunday Walking Street and a shorter walk to the night market. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast is good and there are daily free snacks in the afternoon - wonderful! A friendly, helpful staff.

Nice room, pool and food but what made it was the exceptional helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff. You are made to feel special. We will be returning to Thailand next year and definitely rebooking the Rimping.

The staff was very friendly and polite. However the service in the bar and pool area was terrible. Rooms are clean and adequate. We had a little bit of trouble getting the air conditioning to work but the staff came right away to fix the issue

+1
The hotel is very nice and clean. The service from all their staff was very polite and friendly. The vibe around the pool and restaurant was just so relaxing. We could just sit there all day. Free breakfast was excellent in options for both Thais and foreigners. Oh that coffee machine at the breakfast area is just amazing. You just drink nice cappuccino or latter or whatever you like from that machine, and excellent taste. Also free afternoon snacks is another of the best things. They gather all the best thai desserts from sources they have and let their customers try the best and popular choice. The area of the hotel is quite good. You can walk to an organic supermarket around the corner, close to 7-11 and there is a nice Thai restaurant a couple mins walking as well. Or you can also walk to the night bazaar as well... There are bikes at the hotel for you if you'd like to bike around. Love love this hotel.... Really recommend this place.

In our 2 weeks in Thailand, this was definitely our favorite property. We were picked up in a luxury van for free transport to the property, Upon arrival the excellent customer service was evident at the reception desk, where the staff did everything in their power to make us feel welcomed and to take care of every need that we had. When needing a taxi, we only had to ask at the front desk and a taxi would arrive quickly. The grounds of the property are quiet and beautiful and we noticed staff constantly cleaning, raking and tidying up. The pool is beautiful. One minor critique would be that the lounge chairs do not adjust to a comfortable position to be able to read. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with comfy beds and pillows. Drying racks were conveniently placed outside our door. The breakfasts were delicious and again, staff go out of their way to be helpful. In the afternoon, a nice selection of snacks and beverages are provided free of charge. I highly recommend Rimping Village for a stay in Chaing Mai. It’s wonderful!
