Facilities are very comfortable, staffs are nice and patient, breakfast is delicious, but the price is a little expensive. However, it was a very nice experience to stay in Rimping Village, I will recommand my friends to stay here.
Wonderful hotel, giving a super relaxed and authentic Thai feeling. Our room was big for our family of five, which worked very well for us. the staff was VERY friendly and allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay. One of the best hotels we stayed in while in Thailand. Can only recommend.
This hotel is perfectly fine - it's spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable, rooms spacious and the staff friendly and attentive. It has a small pool area. But it's definitely lacking a little bit of Thai charm. The pool was chilly, the heavy sun beds more or less fixed to one spot, which for us British sun chasers meant we couldn't move the beds to capture a few rays. It's also a family hotel, so while we were there, there were lots of children in the pool. Again not necessarily an issue but good to be aware if you're travelling without kids. The location is just across the river from from the market areas but quite a long walk from the historic old town. However, tuk tuks and taxis are easy to come by. And the hotel has free bikes for use of hotel residents. All in all we enjoyed our experience and for a good value, 'no frills' experience with very friendly service, you could do worse.…
Lovely setting outside the main town, quiet and a little out of the way, good breakfast, friendly staff. No lift, so an effort with a suitcase on the stairs. No evening meal dining. Christmas card and gift was a nice touch.
My extended family and l spent 6 nights in Chiang Mai staying at the beautiful Rimping Village. Rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious and the staff always friendly and helpful. The weather in January was great, warm days so easy to walk around in the weather and the evenings cool enough that you don’t need the air con on. The rooms surround a beautiful pool but unfortunately it was to cold for me to get in but not for our kids. I have however stayed there before in July and made use of the pool every day. Great little hotel in a beautiful part of Thailand.
Highly recommended. Located only a couple of minutes walk from the Iron Bridge in a quiet area this hotel is a perfect place to spend your time in Chiang Mai. The night market is just 5 minutes over the bridge and the old town another 10 minutes. Our room which overlooked the swimming pool had a good sized comfortable bed and outside seating. What makes this hotel extra special are the staff who are so warm and friendly, always with a smile and a greeting.
Super friendly staff, always with a smile. Wonderful breakfasts included. Loved the Rimping and would definitely stay again. It is close to the Old Town and easy to walk or Tuk Tuk around. Very clean too.
We loved this place, it truly felt like our home in Chiang Mai! Very friendly staff: they provided us with all the information needed and went the extra mile for us. Rooms are very spacious, super clean and quiet. There is a free small buffet every day at 1 pm: loved the sticky rice mango and all the local sweets! The hotel is located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, 10 minutes away from the night market and 15/20 minutes by feet from the main gate. Super recommended! Thank you again 💕
we had stayed there for nearly a week, OMG we had a really a great time, their staff were really assertive and helpful since we arrived. some previous comments said that the location is not accessible but for us is the best location. Breakfast was wonderfull and had various kind of food both on buffet bar and on the menu and one thing have to mention is the F&B staff were really friendly and so polite. this hotel offered afternoon tea (mango sticky rice was sooo yummy) and it was wonderful. Room is simple but so comfortable. they provide guests complimentary bicycle which we could go around the city. we love this hotel then we extended another night so we could enjoy our time. thank so much again for your truly hospitality and we are looking forward to staying there again
Rimping Village was a perfect stay for our first time visit to Chiang Mai. It’s location is great, quiet and tucked away from the hustle bustle and only 20 - 25 minute walk to the entrance of the Old city and what a beautiful walk full of quaint cafes, artistic shops, a bridge, a feel for the city. The place has bicycles that you can use for free and I did that every morning. The staff are courteous and caring. They made a separate vegetarian dish for my husband as the breakfast buffet has only non-veg mains mostly. The staff really looked after us. Highly recommend.
