Can highly recommend this resort. We only stayed one night but will return.Built and decorated in Thai Lanna style with the original 100 year old teak house used for breakfast and dining, Our room had its own dining table if you wish to eat in your room. Bed was very comfortable and furnishings more like you would experience in a 5 star resort. Lunch ,Dinner and Breakfast were excellent Pool is about 25 m with spa, lounges and interesting decor. Ann ,Manager is Thai but speaks very good English and the staff are friendly and very helpful.10/10 is our rating.
A wonderful hotel a short drive from the city centre. The service of the staff at the resort was very good and gave out a real family vibe. I would highly recommend the breakfast very nourishing. Set in a very natural environment that you can appreciate intensely to maximize your enjoy.
Our one night here was so welcomed! Our room/suite was beautiful and comfortable, in the old-Thai fashion. We slept well and had a very good breakfast before heading off to the next adventure. The bathroom and shower are very large. The additional room has a table and chairs.
Originally our visit was limited to a couple of days, but we liked Chiang Mai and this resort so much we ended up staying for almost a whole week. Excellent breakfast (Thai or European, but fruit can be requested), good diner at night and late service if you would like to enjoy a Singha Beer by the pool. The only downside is that it is not located in the center of Chiang Mai, but the service and rooms are more than worth it!
about 8 km south from Chiang Mai following the winding banks of the mighty river Ping lies the resort of Sri Ping. The small resort is run by the ebullient Ann who goes out of her way to make sure all your needs are catered for. The design is classic wooden Siamese style, the dining area is in the original house built over a hundred years ago and the rooms are in the same style, large two room chalets with character features and comfortable beds. I spent three weeks here and I only came for a couple of days. In the words of Arnold Schwartzenegger, "I will be back!"
