I can't say enough about this beautiful little hotel. It has a traditional feel that is charming and welcoming. The rooms are great, pool and property are all fantastic. The best part of our stay was the staff. They helped us arrange transportation, day trips, cooking classes and restaurants. We were always greeted with a hello upon entering, and they couldn't do enough to help us. The food is also fantastic - be sure to try the iced coffee and the mango sticky rice. We had a fantastic stay!

Review collected in partnership with this hotel
We live in Chiang Mai province and came in to the city for a short city break and chose the Amata Lanna. We are so glad that we did. We loved the room and the small personal feel of the hotel. The Amata Lanna is the opposite of a sterile, corporate business hotel experience, which was exactly what we wanted. The room and bathroom had a romantic feel with lots of nice little touches, like a huge jacuzzi bath, candles and books in the bathroom and charming decor. It's a small property, with a nice little garden. For breakfast you order off a mini menu which has some nice choices and is very adequate and good food (but if you are looking for a giant buffet, this isn't it). The staff were super-friendly and it's a good location near the river and walkable into the night bazaar and Wararot market areas. Recommended.

Very friendly staffs and great breakfast. Well located to lots of massages and close to night bazaar. Meal at hotel is very well priced if you are too exhausted to walk outside, they don't gouge their prices. They even helped my friend purchased rice cracker they offered as snacks and that we fell in love with. Great little pool and patio in/facing the court yard. Am surprised that since our room is next to the street we didnt hear any traffic. The only down side is the ac noise on the last night but we didnt get a chance to inform the hotel. Oh and pls remember to stock up the shampoo. Thank you ladies.

To our dear valued guests, Thank you so much for choosing Amata Lanna Chiang Mai to stay with us. We are glad to hear you liked our hotel and spent a good time in Chiang Mai. We are a boutique hotel with delicate teak wood decoration and artistic paintings of Lanna culture. We treat our guests like our friends and try our best to make them have a wonderful stay with us. We also want to support our local farmers and small restaurants for their business so we buy all the food and indigence from them with a reasonable price. And the food are fresh, clean, and local as well. Thank you so much for your time to wrote down the review for us.
