Beautiful small hotel in Chiang Mai - only 12 georgeous rooms. Very warm welcome & and wonderful surprise when we were shown to our rooms - even better than the photos that we had seen prior to booking. Rooms are spacious, v tastefully decorated in traditional dark wood & the bathroom hosts both a jacuzzi bath & a shower. Outside... More

Small hotel run by lovely Isaan ladies. Recent apparent change of ownership meant payment by credit card not available. This change was not informed to us prior to arrival, despite early booking. High wall separates hotel from busy road. Quite good location.

Beautiful place & lovely staff, would definitely stay there again. The only negative for us was some other holiday makers (all Chinese) were extremely loud & totally inconsiderate of others staying there. The staff were very aware of this & tried to do what they could to minimise the noise.

We stayed at the Amata Lanna for three days. It is a small and pleasant boutique hotel. There is a swimming pool for just 12 rooms! It is very refreshing to go for a swim in the evening after a day under the hot Thailand sun. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, they gave us fresh fruit juice... More

Its hard to point out anything overly wrong with here, but also it didn't really excel in anything either. Pros: Rooms where really spacious and lovely, the communal areas were nice and quiet. Cons: It was a pain to get to and from (a little too far to walk anywhere and drivers didn't know where it was) the isn't anywhere... More

This is the second time we have stayed here and hopefully not the last. The owner and staff are amazing and very helpful. We stayed in the same room as before which overlooks the lovely little pool. Room is a good size with a large bathroom with both shower and large bath. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was always a delight... More
