Eagle House has a special place in my heart. We just booked here for our trekking and didn't get the chance to stay in their rooms as they were fully booked. --we regret not staying there because they have good location and have budget friendly rates. Annette, the owner, is very welcoming and will make you feel like Eaglehouse is... More

We are a group of 4 students and found this was a great place for us. It was right beside the centre of town, and easy to walk to the markets. It was a great price, the staff were very friendly and helpful, Annette had loads of recommendations for things to see and do, and you could book everything through... More

Eagle House is cheap, no question. The owner was super helpful online as I booked, but only briefly saw her after I arrived. Food was okay, and fairly cheap too. Mostly i went down the street to Cat House to have breakfast, which was great. Room was okay too, and seeing as i didn't pay a lot, i didn't get... More

On the plus side, the location was good, the papaya pancakes for breakfast were delicious and the garden was nice. Unfortunately i didn't find this a friendly place to stay although i sometimes managed to get help from the staff on directions and the leaky toilet in my room was fixed within the day. The rooms were basic and a... More

Annette runs a wonderful little guest house in a quieter part of town. We stayed somewhere else when we first arrived. After hunting around a little, we found that we could stay at Eagle House, with all the same amenities, for half the price. Not only that, but the staff were incredibly friendly, the space is really nice to relax... More

Staff: 5/5 Beds: 0/5 Bathroom: 1/5 The location was nice, but man those beds were uncomfortable. I stayed in two rooms on different nights, and apparently all of their beds are uncomfortable. The first night, the bed was like a pile of bricks. The second night was even worse! I felt like I was sleeping on a box spring and... More

So the first thing to note is that it is basic accommodation, and that is why it is so cheap. So you do get what you pay for. The beds were incredibly hard but other than that, the rooms were clean and tidy enough. The shower is very weak (basically a dribble), but again, you are not paying for luxury.... More

Thus was my second stay at Eagle House and I must say I truly enjoyed my stay there. I had a late arrival and when I got to Eagle House my room was ready and waiting. The staff is wonderful, so friendly and helpful, Accommodations are simple but comfortable and at that price a great bargain! The courtyard is a... More

Eagle House is located down a side street about a ten-minute walk away from Thapae Gate. I thought it would be quiet, but I could hear motorbikes passing quite loudly (maybe the walls are thin???) I was also disappointed to discover that the wifi didn't extend to my room, so I had to sit outside in the common area whenever... More

Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Clean, basic accommodation - right for the price. Great food. Well planned trek with absolutely brilliant tour guide Dwee. And we cannot rate the cooking class highly enough... the chef should have his own tv show - we were thoroughly entertained and learned how to make some great dishes. Our family loved it. Thanks Annette... More
