we stayed here for a weekend to visit the city. We selected this place because of its local architect and because of its location. When we arrived, we were given the option of a room with king bed but no TV or a room with 2 beds with TV. Didn't really mind the TV so we took the king. The owners are very nice All we need is a place that provides the local home feeling so this place certainly fullfilled that. Didn't experience much of the mosquito problem. However, the shower is a bit small and the wifi signal is really weak.

The guest house has the charm of its own way , so as the helpful owners , they make this place warm and feel like home , indeed a very pleasant and memorable stay . Tips : 1. The owners are staying at level 2 of the guesthouse , can ask for help easily when u need , though they only speak simple English , but are very helpful and patient trying o understand what we said despite of the language barrier . 2. Location : very good location , just behind the famous Wat Chiang Maan 3. Mosquito at the Garden : must use mozzie spray , and there's mosquito nets in the rooms. 4. Hair dryer can be provided by request . Owner also could help to arrange for motor bike rental .

This guest house has been designed by an architect and you can tell immediately. Every little corner of this hotel has been taken care of and it is all beautifully decorated in the same style. Very peaceful after a day in busy Chiang Mai! The owners are very sweet and always accommodating without pushing for their own services.

My husband and I spent holiday in Thailand in February of 2016. Chiang Maan Residence was by far one of the nicest accommodations. The owners were very sweet. They room was just my style. It was clean, peaceful, and quiet. I loved the location. Bike rentals near by. Chiang Mai is a great city. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

We stayed 5 nights in this lovely place which the host was very nice, friendly and very helpful as well ! The interior's tasteful and you'll love the ideas. We didn't have a chance to try breakfast, but coffee he brewed was really good. You should come, it's worth a try ! Everything's good, just the soundproofing was not that good, we could even hear what people talked about next door. They were getting really loud since 7am, when we got back to our room around 11pm-12pm, they were still loud. Hmm maybe nothing about soundproofing, just bumped into not so good neighbors? But anyway, we did enjoy our stay here, and would love to come back next time !
