We had heard about Chiang Mai Thai House through other Danes and thought it looked very good on their homepage. We, 2 adults and 2 boys (5 and 8 years), booked a triple room with fan through the homepage. The reply on mail came quickly and in perfect English. When arriving at the bus station we called the Chiang Mai...

We loved this hotel. Its in a great location for seeing the sites of Chang Mai. The hotel has a nice breakfast/drinks area, a fab pool, good check-in procedure with english speaking helpful staff. The rooms were spacious with running hot water and very clean. Overall the hotel has a lot of nice character and is a perfect place to...

DON"T stay at Chiang Mai Thai House. We were seduced by good reviews and cheap prices, but it's not all it seems... When we stayed there in July 08, you wouldnt believe the evil conjob they lay on you. Basically, when you arrive, they pick you up from the airport (for about $6-7 bucks, which is actually quite dear) or...

This place was great, I was surprised to see any bad reviews. The place was impeccably clean and well kept. The pool was lovely. The room was exactly as the pics. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even making local phone calls for us for no charge. They talked to us about the tours offered but we didnt book...

I am simply amazed at several of the poor reviews CMTH received. I stayed there during Songkran 2006 and was made a part of the CMTH family. The service is impeccable and the staff incredibly friendly. "Bugboy" (one of the staff members) had to head home to his village for compulsory voting and took myself and three friends in order...

Stayed for 5 nights in Feb '08. Found the rooms to be very spacious, clean and true to the photos they advertise. Unlike other traveller reviews my family and I had no hassels with tours being pushed on us, couldve been though we made it clear we had been to Chiang Mai several times previously and they realised they couldn't...

I booked through chiangmaithaihouse@hotmail.com Peak season ~ December 2007 and January 2008. Chiang Mai Thai House is about 2 blocks away from Starbucks, across the street on Tha Phae Road, and down the 1st soi. There is a pedestrian light to cross the street just before Starbucks. I didn't care for the Chiang Mai Thai House. I stayed there for...
