Let's talk about location: quiet area, a bit far from city center and Old Town but the hostel right in front of the Ping river (no small soi). Nearby has 7-eleven. From the airport I booked Grabcar around THB 120 because it's cheaper than "taxi meter", or you can go by Songthaew (Tuk tuk). From hotel I also used Grabcar...

If you are on a low budget vacation, this is the place. There are only a few positives about this place. The bed was comfortable, toilet was clean and big enough room. We made our booking well in advance, but when we showed up and went to the room. The guy then started to plug the bedside lights and tv...

I highly recommend. It's tucked away enough that it is very peaceful and quiet, very nice outdoor pool area. I walked to the night market, anusarn market, and about 20 min walk to the Sunday night market in old town. It's literally right across from the ping river, helpful friendly staff. Clean rooms with nice decorating, nice big hot shower....

I stayed 2 nights at Glur, just across from the Ping river and a short walk to the night market, it's a great base to stay for a Chiang Mai visit. The rooms were a good size, quite charming and clean. Despite being close to a lot of things, it's a quiet location. The beds are comfortable. The pool was...

We stayed over new year and were very happy with the hotel and service. We had 2 double rooms with air con for the four of us. The receptionist were lovely and spoke good English. There was free tea, coffee, fruit and toast available to guests which was a nice touch. The room was lovely and big, as was the...

They have treated us very kindly and we have enjoyed their free coffee and tea in their lobby for 24 hours and they have the best Wi-Fi we have ever experienced in Thailand. They have also got a very nice outdoor swimming pool but we didn't use it.
