I did a 4 night stay at Trigong. My prime purpose to visit Chiang Mas was to meet Ajahn Maha Arwon, Luong Phor Plien and Luong Phor Prasit. But, I didnt have enough info on how to reach their monasteries. Then Adam (Father) and Deuy (Son), the owners assisted everything from what time to do the morning alms and transportation....

Beds very poor - soft and old, sagging where others have slept. The AC is old and noisy. We had to move rooms twice due to this. Possibly worse is that the hotel has NO atmosphere. All concrete and no real place to chill out. Lobby seemed the private preserve of the owner.

We stayed at Tri Gong Residence for 3 nights, with some goods and bads: GOOD: - We were allowed to take our room 1.5 hours ahead of normal check in because the previous guests had checked out early and the room was ready. - It is in a good location, close to the North Gate market, a couple of bars...

Stayed one week in Chiang Mai. Pleasantly surprised by little balcony with screen door. This was nice to hang washcloth to dry, etc, or leave open on cooler days. Room is small, air con was overwhelmed by 90 degree heat. Took a day to get Maintenance to repair. Same with clogged shower drain and sink drain. Shower is hot, sink...

I went somewhere else before here for a week and after day 1 chose to book somewhere else. For just a few dollars more I found this gem. It was such a relief to have a room that actually had some decor! Fridge, plenty of storage and nice lighting. I was so happy! And, to top it off, the bed...

Very nice room in a great corner of the old town. There is everything you need within walking distance, like bars, restaurants, cafes, 7/11, travel agents, laundry, and massage. Tri Gong is very busy and you must book ahead. We arrived at 8am after the overnight train from Bangkok, but could not check in until 1pm. We had booked two...

We stayed six nights a the Tri Gong. We had requested a room on the bottom floor as my wife has problem climbing stairs. When we arrived the room was ready. The room was cozy and had a refrigerator where we could store our fruit and use the kitchen to prepare the fruit for breakfast. The eating area was a...

We stayed at Tri Gong for 11 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really helpful, especially Adam and Duey. We were able to get really good sleep every night. It's in a quiet space. The rooms are clean. The shower pressue isn't great but it'll do. Cost of the rooms was very reasonable. our room was cleaned...

Our room was very quiet, fair sized with a very comfortable bed, wardrobe, desk, refrigerator, tables and chair (wooden Lanna style furniture). The air conditioner was quiet, the fridge worked well and there was adequate hot water. There is a large window and good lighting for reading. Rooms are very clean, and cleaned daily. Free water, and toiletries are provided....

Stayed there for 3 nights while on a long trip across Asia. The rooms were average, basic cleanliness. No room wifi, only at the lobby. Free coffee at the lobby, no breakfast provided, but quite a few restaurants nearby. Strange towels in this place made out of blanket material clinging to your body not really drying you out. Good, quiet...
