By accident we stumbled upon this (not so unknown) gem hidden in a side road. We definitely stayed longer than we wanted to (motorcycle crash), but the Julie's was the right place to do so. Clean and super cheap dorms, pool table and very helpful staff. We even were able to postpone our trekking indefinitely after our crash. Only negative:... More

We stayed at Julies Guest Housepart 2. It is not as popular at number 1. It was good, the bedrooms were clean, no sign of bedbugs thank god, the bathrooms are small but doable, the staff were average when it came to requests. It was a nice quite hostel we didn't spend too much time there apart from sleeping but overall... More

We had a double room (for 290 baht) at Julie 1. It was pretty basic with a fan and a very squished bathroom but all was fine and fit for purpose. The best thing about the guesthouse was the food and communal areas - there is a pool table and lots of comfy lie down areas to read a book.... More

After looking at many places in town that looked like prison or were too pricey, we chose to take 2 rooms at the Julie Guest House because the price was good and rooms actually like rooms. I had a room in the old section, and the room was pretty basic but okay. The mattress and pillow were average, and the... More

Mosquitos every where, bedbugs and the wifi is frequently dropping out, and it is at a good location but cost is 180 baht a night AC, but I found out other places can do 230 private room nearby afterwards and I don't mind anything else but the bedbugs is just ridiculous

rooms are basic but comfortable with sheet and bath towel, it is a good option when you travel with a bag pack smiling and helpful team, welcoming guesthouse with good food, free pool and wifi not bad you can rent scooter and bike, and organize trekking, cooking course... in the center

I stayed in this Dorm as part of an emergency stop. Being a bike rider, I normally avoid Dorm style accommodation due to storage and security concerns, but I was very happy with Julies GH2. The rooms are clean and compact with around 12 bunks to a room. Each bed has power and curtains to divide. Gauging the people staying... More

We stayed in Julie Guesthouse Part Two. This was OK, the air conditioned dorm was clean and big enough; however the toilet/shower room wasn't the greatest and with one between 10 people there was often a shower queue. The staff were quite varied in attitudes - we tried to book an extra night and the girl we spoke to said... More
