Having stayed here several times before, we knew what to expect. Great staff -- friendly and helpful. Parking (though less than before due to renovation work going on), and a convenient situation for bars, restaurants, spas, and the old walled city. Comfortable room and good bathroom for the standard of hotel. The restaurant is also undergoing renovation right now (good planning!), so no regular breakfast, though they do deliver a breakfast to the room

The very nice/friendly staff don't make up for the need of maintenance. My first room, the A/C did not cool and the fan was so noisy. My second room - A/C did not work. Third room = no A/C. Forth room, finally had A/C working.

Room was spacious. Not the most modern but everything was clean. Room doors lead directly outside so need to be wary of mosquitos - even at breakfast which was in the courtyard on the ground floor. Location brilliant - 10mins to night market and over the road from several massage parlours. Reception staff not overly friendly, no info on local area or trips etc. unless you really pushed which was odd. Great burger joint downstairs.

Good central location, about a 10 minute walk to the night market for example, but feels like a calm oasis. Good size room, good breakfast and the Rock Me burger bar had really excellent burgers. Nice pool area although this is not directly on site but over the road. Staff all very nice.
