Wow. I wish this hotel was a chain, I’d become a loyal member. First, the resort is more like a private compound. You arrive and no one except you is allowed on property so you’re greeted by a nice long golf cart that takes you down this very beautiful landscaped oasis and as you turn past it are greeted by what could be a scene of a movie. Every single person who works there is at your service. Even the gardeners greet you with the most sincere mannerisms. Our complimentary airport pickup and drop off was flawless. Nice large vans that are clean and comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel was A+. Complimentary snacks and drinks in the hotel room refilled nightly . The rooms are spacious as well as bathroom . Very clean too. We loved just walking around and feeling like we’re in a different world. What we liked the most of the resort was that it was totally secluded and away from the busy touristy areas yet a simple 10 min grab which is very inexpensive was the perfect way to explore what you wanted to and get back to peace and quiet when done. Awesome hotel. Very unique . Will be back ! Special shout out to Aod,Aing Aing, New and also to the night staff who were very nice and helpful. …
Simply AMAZING!!! This Thai manor functions as a boutique hotel in which rooms can be booked individually, but through Airbnb, our large group essentially rented the entire place (even though we did not use all available rooms). Location: The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood and though some restaurants and shops are within a 10–15-minute walk, old town Chiang Mai is about a 15-minute car ride away. Transport: A free shuttle is provided 3x a day and should be requested 30 minutes in advance. Return is simple & inexpensive via taxi, tuk tuk or Grab (Thai Uber – available through an app). Arrival: Transport to and from the airport was provided. We were greeted in the main lobby with cool cloths and chilled butterfly flower tea before being shown around. Slip-ons are best as guests must leave their shoes at the entrance and wear the slides provided to walk the remainder of the hotel. Hotel-provided slides are removed & left at the door prior to entering each room. Rooms: There is a quiet central koi pond around which several rooms are located; rooms on the second floor overlook the central pond. There is also a more private 2-room suite tucked in a corner on the second floor – like a mini-apartment with 2 completely separate rooms connected by a short hallway and more isolated from the main area. Each room is uniquely stunning and has its own special appeal (from massive bathroom suites to private verandas to large soaking tubs). Apple TV is available for those with a subscription. Snacks, coffee and bottled water are provided in each room and are refreshed daily. The beds are large and extremely comfortable (on the firm side which is our preference). Most, if not all, rooms had king size beds though the Airbnb description lists them as double. There are roosters on the adjacent property at the far end of the koi pond so if the early morning noise will bother you, choose a room on the opposite end – though the crowing couldn’t be heard inside the rooms. We personally loved this! Food: Breakfast is included, and it is requested that you place your order the night before. The menu includes waffles, pancakes, eggs, omelettes, fruit, Thai noodles and more, and the meal can be taken at any time of day. We sometimes had this meal for dinner when our tours left early in the day. A basket of hot breads (croissants, pastries, toast) is provided in addition to menu choices. There is coffee and several kinds of fresh juice too. We ate in a beautifully appointed seating area next to the koi pond, but staff readily accommodated us when we wanted to move to the indoor piano bar on chilly January mornings. Spa: We made much use of the spa area including steam room and sauna as well as booking massage therapists through the hotel. Though more expensive than local street massage facilities, these therapists were extremely professional and some of the best we have had in Thailand so worth the extra money. Plus, they come to you, so you can stumble out of the spa and straight to bed for a most relaxing sleep! Note: A service charge/tip was already applied to our bill – not sure if this was because we booked numerous massages at the same time or if this is automatic for all bookings. Pool: The pool was beautiful, but the water was much too cold in January for us to use. The attached jacuzzi has jets but is not heated. Restaurant: There is a restaurant at the front of the hotel, just before the stairs to the main lobby, and this is open to the public though our large group was able to schedule a private dinner. Patrons do not have access to the hotel, so accommodations and shared areas remained private. Staff: The most WONDERFUL people will do anything to make sure your stay is absolutely perfect! They literally attended to our every request, big & small, despite being short-staffed. And all with a smile 😊 …
My wife and I stayed at the Sireeampan Resort & Spa in December 2021 for our honeymoon. The staff was incredibly helpful and we were both very impressed with the level of service and the warmth with which we were treated. Whether it was organizing a couple's massage, setting up a cooking class (with a trip into a local market), or just offering to take us into the Old City, we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The next time we are in Chiang Mai, we will absolutely be returning.
We had a wonderful stay at Sireempan. The hotel itself is quiet and beautiful, with a koi pond and lots of nice sitting nooks throughout the property. But what makes this hotel stand out from the rest is the amazing hospitality provided by the staff. New was our “host” during our stay (basically our go-to person if we ever had questions, etc), and he went out of his way to make sure we had the most comfortable, seamless stay. E.g., we had to get covid tests the morning of our flight back to the US, and he was able to locate a hospital that offered the service and coordinate a driver to take us there and back. They also provide a lot of thoughtful touches, like having delicious snacks and drinks ready upon arrival, complimentary transportation to and from the airport, making a photo souvenir of us standing in front of the resort with a cute Sireempan picture frame, etc. I didn’t catch the names of the other hotel staff, but each one of them was so friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Anyway, I thought the customer service/hospitality aspect deserved its own highlight, but here are some other quick pros and cons: Pros: -The food at this hotel (especially breakfast) is AMAZING. They offer complimentary breakfast at any time of day, anywhere of your choosing on the property. We would usually choose to eat breakfast by the koi pond and it was so peaceful and serene. Also, the coffee was delicious! -Clean rooms with the most comfortable bed. Another big plus was that there weren’t any bugs in the rooms, which was not the case with the other resorts we’ve stayed at in Thailand (especially resorts like this, where each room opens up to the outside). -Has a spa, fitness center, swimming pool, etc. Unfortunately, we were only in Chiang Mai for 3 days and were out and about sightseeing most of the day, so we didn’t have time to use these facilities. But they looked like they’d be amazing and it was nice to know there was that option if we did want to use them. -Complimentary features like free water bottles/mini bar items, slippers they provide during your stay, transportation into the city, etc. were nice and convenient. Cons: -WiFi for our specific room wasn’t the fastest, but you can use any of Sireempan’s WiFi networks using the same password (the other ones were quicker for us). -You’re relatively close to the airport, so you’ll hear planes flying by every once in a while. This was barely noticeable to us, but worth mentioning for people sensitive to noise. -Toilet flush was a bit weak/you had to hold it down for several seconds to actually flush it. Again, just a small nitpicky thing because it’s hard to think of many other cons with Sireempan. Overall, we loved our stay here and would definitely return!…
We are world travelers and have stayed at all levels of hotels, but all of us in our group agreed this was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. We don't say that lightly, we can be critical. But this hotel had more charm, more elegance and by far the best service we could have ever asked for. If there were 10 stars we would give it.
A small resort in Chiang Mai offering excellent services. It's located just 5 min drive (or 30 min walk) from Maya shopping mall whilst it's location is away from the busy roads. Perfect for those looking for a few days of quietness. As the hotel is small, you may not even see other residents here. Services are tailored for you, say you can choose where to have your breakfast. The place is clean, food is nice and staff are friendly. It's a bit too cold to swim in the swimming pool and you may not be able to enjoy sunshine at the poolside in December, however. It would be perfect if there's some more facilities such as snooker or table tennis available for winter time stay.
Highly recommend a stay at Sireeampan. The staff are absolute excellent in every way - discreet, incredibly helpful, and anticipated our every need. The facilities were gorgeous, and the food was terrific. I would stay here again without hesitation.
Sireeampan is a small boutique hotel North of the old city , with only twelve rooms and suites. Cars do not reach the hotel itself , instead you are driven through a magical alley, especially at night, in a comfortable golf cart. The hotel emerges at the end, and it is a splendid vision from the glorious Lanna period. It really is a haven of peace and Thai tradition. The rooms are beautiful, the service is unparalleled. The hotel is a little far from the center of town but it is easy to get a taxi or tuktuk.
The service was exceptional the moment we stepped into the hotel. The staffs did everything they could to make our stay memorable and relaxing. The hotel manager Pam replied messages promptly, the receptionist was so kind to help us arrange for transport, the cleaners and even the staffs at restaurant were great, we were pampered and did not feel like stepping out of the hotel. Although our trip to Chiang Mai is mainly for the Thai lantern festival to celebrate for my wife's birthday but it was a failure (first time organiser and things didn't turn out as what we expected), we were disappointed but luckily we booked this hotel and we don't feel that bad. Thanks for the birthday surprise for my wife! :) Bed - comfort Cleanliness - good Hotel size - not big but just nice if you want privacy Facilities - all good. Do try the sauna! *we stayed 2 nights at the studio room facing the pool We will definitely be back!…
My wife and I spent several nights here on a honeymoon trip across Thailand. This unique boutique hotel stood out as the most outstanding place we visited during our travels. The staff were all exceptional, the room was amazing and breakfast by the courtyard pond was breathtaking. If we visit Chiang Mai again, we wouldn't even think about staying elsewhere. - Justin
