We stayed here 3 nights in Dec. It’s a great base to explore the city which is about a 15mins easy walk into the old city. The accommodation is lovely, super comfy 4 poster bed and our 13year old son was on a put-you-up bed and was equally as comfy. Everything was spotlessly clean and a fantastic shower. Breakfast was lovely- made to order cooked breakfast with a good choice. The host is really friendly and accommodating. Overall 5star and would thoroughly recommend.
We stayed at Baan Orapin as a group of 5 people. It was very quiet, yet well located in Chiangmai. Breakfast was served in an open area near the pool - beautiful spot. The room was comfortable and large. Highly recommend.
Staying at Baan Orapin was so comfortable it felt like home for the 8 nights we were in Chiang Mai. Pepsi was a very hospitable host, the room was nicely taken care of every day, and the breakfast selections delicious. The garden with beautiful plants and birds singing felt like we were staying in an oasis. The mosquitos were a bit pesky at dawn and dusk but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Baan means "home," which perfectly fits this charming gem nestled across the river from busy old town Chiang Mai. Behind the gates of Baan Orapin -- adjacent to some great riverfront restaurants -- lies a quiet, calm oasis. Our hosts were lovely, and our rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast poolside was delicious, and a perfect way to prepare for a busy day exploring the temples and adventures to be found an the other side of the bridge. Highly recommend.
Our family truly enjoyed our stay. It’s peaceful despite the proximity to activities. The pool was wonderful, as was the kind and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable, calm and quiet. Breakfast by the pool was a nice start to the day. We’d come back!
We love Baan Oraphin! It’s the best place in Chiang Mai. Wonderful calm space, great breakfasts and kind and knowledgeable staff. Gardens and space make it an oasis for the city. We stayed for a week and wish it could have been longer. Until next year!
My family and I had such a lovely time at this bed and breakfast. They serve various options for breakfast and everything was delicious. The room was clean and spacious, and we absolutely loved how kind and hospitable the staff treated us. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.
Firstly, our contacts before booking were excellent and the welcome is warmful and helpful. Rooms are large, very well furnished and the swimming pool provides a good rest after walking in the nearby old city. Breakfast offers a wide choice of Thai and western items. The tenant organized for us a one day tour in private car for visits outside the Chiang Mai city as well as rented car at good price, the car being handed over to us inside the property. We got very pleasant exchanges with the tenant about Thailand, culture, history ... During this end of Covid period, we received an appreciated help to deal with airlines for our trip back to France.
Stayed during Covid-19 and had the place to ourselves, literally! Our 2 room suite was impeccably clean with beautiful Lanna-style furnishings. The experience made me think, "I need to stay here long-term and write my novel!" Deserves all the superlatives.
This bed and breakfast is pristinely clean, perfectly positioned, quiet and blissful! The breakfast is plentiful and the surroundings so relaxing. Baan Orapin is located in the quiet arty section just beside the river. A short st troll to old Chiang mai, Chiang mai markets and the night markets. We will definitely stay here again!
