Stayed at the hotel 8th to 19thSept. both cottage & hotel. The whole hotel had a look of lost interest & tiredness, example the restaurant advertised promotion was a cheeseburger. boring menu, no speciality of the day, hence I saw few people using the restaurant. breakfast had been O.K if included in package, pricey if not. It was as if interest and present-day needs had been left behind. There were no shops in walking distance, fine not the hotels' fault, but instead of a small shop facility around the reception, as enough space, A small cabinet, with a few crisps and not much else. the whole place could have done with a lick of paint. Plus, the pool arrear lack of facilities to sun bath, (four wooden sunbeds in the shade no cushions on.) Positive aspect, rooms in hotel very pleasant roomy & including a comfortable bed, cleaned every day. The chalets could be fab but need some tender loving care and cut back all the shrubbery it is taking over the place. On the whole good value for money, maybe these are the reasons stated why it is, but it could be brilliant with thought and imagination, someone needs to get hold of it & give it a good shaking.

Peacefull in the centre of Chiang Mai. From hotel to centre 30 min walk, with tuk-tuk 100 bht. Hotel with beautiful garden and many large trees, some exotic and making excellent shade, Clean and large room with balcony, good bed and mattress, fridge, coffee, tea, kettle. Toilet could be cleaner. Friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant, but for the price charged it's not worth it, very small portions and cuisine nothing special.

This is a wonderful hotel comprising individual Thai style bungalows set among tropical gardens. Beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Attentive staff and remarkably quiet, even with entertainment every evening. Staying here really feels as though you are getting a 'tropical jungle experience' - with all the mod cons. The staff come round every evening to light the mosquito coils outside your bungalow so you can sit out on the veranda. Food is served buffet style with as much as you can eat. Ideally situated and only a tuk tuk ride away from the centre of Chiang Mai. A perfect retreat from the pollution and bustle of town. Watch out for the mangoes falling from the trees if you are sunbathing around the pool!! This is the place to stay if you want a hideaway, but for excitement and entertainment the town is very close by. Keep a note of what you use from the mini bar in your room. Drinks can be quite expensive for Thailand and will be added to your bill.

me and my parents (Thais) went here. we planned to stay for 3 nights but gotta leave earlier with a bad impression. service and staff was good. they also have car to take you to town area for free. i choose this place because there has a pool so i can relax there. the place is a resort like but still in the city (around 100 baht trip to town).
my parents are very easy going and hardly complaint about anything but in this case i am so surprised that they said lets find another place rather than put up at this place for two more night. here are the things you may consider if you want to visit or for the hotel to improve.
- towels are old and very hard like they have been used for years
- i have extra bed. it is old and mattress is old with noticeable bumps with sags down in the center
- Water at the bathroom - they are not hot! sometimes it is hot but sometimes regardless how long we keep it open.
- cleanliness - oh my mom has to clean the room again when she got into the room. she cant stay in the dirty room. it is not well cleaned and dusty everywhere. (i kind of hope that eventhough it is old, they should keep it clean...)
- They still use antique TV. My dad had to tune up the TV channels by himself. there are around 15 channels and just 2-3 channels which is clear picture to watch.
- We ordered room service once we got it. The food wasnt nice and cold.
ok, breakfast time now and after this we are ready to move out! :) hope this review helps.

We brought a party of 56 school students and 9 staff here as a base for a 4 day trip visiting hill-tribes and as such it was an excellent choice.
We stayed in the cottages, which are a lovely way to stay, and gave the students a nice feeling of independence (and allowed the staff to feel a little more cut-off from them...!) The accommodation is superb, except the shower which wouldn't run hot - but, hey, little things. The food was okay, with decent breakfasts, and a wide selection of ice cream which pleased the students... The pool is a little small but pleasant and clean.
The main drawback seems to be the location, which certainly is a way out of the city centre, but this wasn't too much of a problem for us. A bigger draw back was the lack of local amenities - the shop at the end of the road is slightly bizarre and seems more focused on wholesale rather than small purchases.
The staff were always willing to help, but I found their grasp of English a little patchy (I'm not being a Typical Brit Abroad here; if you work in a hotel your English should be good enough to know what I mean when I ask for a receipt) - one of my favourite examples of this was when one of our party ordered an Amaretto towards the end of the evening and, after about a half-hour wait, was brought a (admittedly very tasty) omelette and chips......

I chose to stay at the Eurasia Chiang Mai for 2 days, mainly for the reason that it is affordable. I booked through the internet, and it is about THB1,400 per night including ABF for two. That is about USD40 per night, inclusive of all taxes.
For USD40 Per Night, you are getting an incredible feeling of living in a garden cottage. There are a lot of fruit trees within the compound, mostly of the tropical variety. The hotel operators have also taken the pains to label each variety of tree and plants, to make your walkabout in the compound worth its effort.
This is not the type of 5-star hotel, as the price already suggests. However, for the price of 1,400THB that I got, it is definitely worth every Baht. Yes, it shows some age. But to me, that is the true character of the hotel.
Not forgetting--The staff are very friendly and helpful too.

My husband and I recently visited Chiang Mai and stayed at Eurasia for 3 nights. We were looking forward to checking in and having a comfortable stay, however upon arrival we were very disappointed. Firstly, the photos on the website and Booking.com are very misleading. The photos were definitely from when the hotel was still new. The actual hotel looks to be 50 years older than what the photos show. Everything from the floor, carpet, walls, lighting, furniture were all very dingy, aged and needed a thorough makeover to look like the photos advertised. Our check-in process was also a disappointment. We booked our stay through Booking.com and thought our reservation was already paid. The front-of-house agent demanded that we pay before even checking in and since we thought we had paid, we did not have any cash. We offered to pay in pound sterling's but they would not accept it. We then said "well what can we do?" The agent asked what appeared to be her supervisor and the reply was that we just needed to pay before checking-in. After a tiring journey from Pai, we expected a little bit more hospitality and welcome as a guest. We then said we would pay this evening after exchanging some money. After this awkward exchange at the check-in process, we were neither showed to our room, assisted by anyone with our luggage, told where our room was besides that it was on the 3rd floor, or showed how anything in our room worked such as the AC, safety deposit box or lights. We walked up the 3 flights of stairs to a dark, dirty corridor that had an unpleasant, stale air to it. Upon opening the door to our room, as explained earlier, we were very disappointed to find that everything in the room was much older than the photos, definitely in need of refurbishment and the carpet and bathroom a whole facelift. All the furniture, bed and appliances looked like it needed an update too. On our first night we found out how hard the bed was. It literally felt like you were sleeping on a block of wood with a bed sheet over it. We were also freezing as the AC was on full blast and we were not shown how to use it nor did they mention there are two AC's; one in the living room and one in the bedroom. On top of that, the actual blanket on the bed was extremely thin. On their website, it mentions that you are surrounded by sounds of nature and are walking distance from Chiang Mai's attractions. Neither of these are true. We woke up to the sounds of motorbikes and construction, and the hotel itself is located off a busy highway in the middle of car shops and other local businesses. The only time we ever feel the need to write a review as detailed as this is if our experience was excellent or terrible. This was definitely one of our worst hotel stays as the hotel is advertised completely different from what it actually is. The hotel staff were also below standard. The front of house themselves did not look really happy to help us or greet us when walking into the lobby. To top this experience of staying at Eurasia off, we discovered tiny ants living in our bathroom on the second night. We were lucky to spot them as they were crawling all over the sink and my wife's toothbrush. At first we thought they were spiders, but it turned out to be ants living in the cracks of the bathroom tiles. To appease my wife, I taped off two of the entrances I found. Lastly, on the day of our check-out we were attempting to open the safe at least 20 times before we that contained our passports and my wife's wallet. The safe kept giving us an error code of some sort and would not open. Luckily, it finally opened after the 20th try. We were able to check out smoothly but will unfortunately not be back due to all these reasons.

We absolutely loved the room we stayed in. #931 is a beautiful little bungalow near the back of the hotel with a private back yard, front porch and seating area, large bath tub, and out favorite: an outdoor shower! It's a little ways from the city, so it's nice and quiet! The hotel also offers a free shuttle into the city before 2pm and delicious free breakfast every day! Our stay here was amazing! We will definitely be back here soon 🤗❤
