You cant get any better location if you want to do the night market, its just around the corner. Its down a back street, so you don't get any traffic noise. The town centre is either a good walk, or a short taxi ride. The room was fine, though the view wasn't anything special,

We stayed here for two nights during our trip, and though the room was extremely basic, we couldn't fault the location. The staff were friendly, we had drinks on arrival and were just around the corner from the night market. Would recommend if you're not planning on spending a lot of time in your room.

Stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour. Best feature of the hotel is the location right next to the night market. The air conditioning was good, a bit noisy. There was no road noise, but hallway noise, yet none from the night markets. The bed was hard as they are all over Thailand. The room was big and the...

This hotel is only steps away from the night market. The hotel was clean and the beds were decent. It is not a modern hotel, and it's great for travelers who will not be in the room much. I did not get the breakfast, and it looked like it was mostly American food with some fried rice. The TVs in...

Disgusting bathrooms, with mould in the shower, no water pressure & dirty sink scum. We were supposed to have a king or double bedroom and the hotel had "overbooked" so they pushed two twin beds together. Clothing went missing from our Laundry. Staff couldn't understand English at all. The Buffet breakfast included bread, juice, coffee & tea, then you had...

If you are a foodie and shopping fanatic like me, you will definitely enjoy staying at the People Place Hotel in Chiangmai. The price is good, the rooms are clean, the staff are really nice and the location is great. It is located right next to Anusarn Market which is part of Night Bazaar. Everything is within walking distance.

The room is tired, and the pictures on Agoda are not an accurate depiction of what you get. If I had paid for that breakfast, I would have felt cheated. It was ordinary at best. If you need a room for one night right in the middle of the night market area, this hotel is a good choice. Just don't...

I stayed at People Place for two nights as part of a tour group. For a basic hotel, this was an excellent choice. The room was comfortable and relatively clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were clean and good quality. The air-conditioning worked great which is important as Chiang Mai is hot. The internet wasn't free (it...

“No lift. If you want Air conditioning or hot water, there are switches just under the controls in the bedroom to switch them on. 2 girls I was travelling with were complaining how hot they were in the room and had to have a cold shower until I pointed out that they need to switch them on. hee hee”
