Royal Lanna is located at the heart of the night market area. This makes it the perfect location if you plan to shop a lot so you won't have to carry your bags for too long. The staff are friendly but the facilities are worn down and dated. The elevator buttons are painted and corridor/room has seen better days. Breakfast...

We stayed four days. The first one we arrived at a room that was "far from the router" so we did not have WIFi and was full of mosquitos (at floor 11) and also the sheets were full of holes. We asked for a double bed and we had two single beds. That night we could not sleep. Next day...

Stayed 5 nights. Pros - great location. Walk out of the hotel and everything is at your doorstep. A little walk to the main attractions. -Decent breakfast. The western menu never changed but the Thai items were different everyday. -Comfortable bed. -Quiet until about 8am (we stayed on the 11th floor) Cons - Unfortunately this hotel could use a a...

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, very close to the night market. It's a 20 minute journey from the airport. A taxi ( usually Toyota Fortuner) costs just THB 150 from the Airport. The hotel doesn't have the new look. The rooms are reasonably big, and clean. The toilet fittings seem to have been replaced recently....

Royal Lanna was located in the middle of the night market. Walk out the door and you are in the night market as well as next to restaurants and pubs. However, the hotel was quiet and not noisy. The restaurants inside the night market did not have tasty food in our opinion. I would not recommend eating there, but outside...

We wanted a room with balcony and the staff showed us 3 rooms to choose from. The hotel's location is right next to the night market and very centrally located for our various cultural trips. It was lovely to be welcomed by the staffs' gentle smiles. Breakfast was standard and the room was cleaned daily. It was however a pity...

We booked at the Royal Lanna only because we wanted a central location for our first visit to Chiang mai.And it served the purpose !. Walk out of the hotel at dusk and you are bang in the middle of the bustling night market. The Royal Lanna serves a standard breakfast buffet, and we had lunch and dinner in the...

This hotel is way overpriced for what you get. The Wifi simply does not work. We had to be moved to 3 different rooms. The first room was terrible....paint coming off the walls, dirty bathroom, so poorly lit it was like being in a cave. The TV had a total of 5 working channels and the picture was so bad...

If you want a budget hotel this hotel might be good for you. The location is near at night bazaar, variety of restaurants and music bar. The hotel looks old and the room needs some improvement.Bathroom is good enough for your toilet and bathing needs.Although you can hear the toilet flush so loud sometimes. The bed is quiet comfortable and...
