Following 2 Days in Bangkok we flew to Chiang Mai to start a 10 day tour. The Dusit D2 is a lovely hotel very well located for night markets and restaurants. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the breakfast was first class with an egg station and everything cooked to your choice. All staff are extremely helpful and friendly and... More

Dusit D2 strategically located almost next to Le Meridien, beside the night Bazzar. Good! ( best hardware) However, it's dated. 814 shower faucet is spoilt. The basin frequently has this bad smell that makes washing face n brushing teeth ..... Eh... Mound can be found in tiles n shower door... Etc I paid almost SGD $400 for a studio suite,... More

Had three nights before visiting Laos. Very close to the night markets. Did not eat there as when booking could not offer a room for three nights including breakfast - only two. So ate at McDonalds just down the road. The beds were exceptionally hard. Uncomfortably so, but my wife liked them. Maybe because she did not have the aircon... More

Having recently spent four nights at the Dusit D2, I can't recommend it enough. Don't be put off by the uber-modern appearance (and the abundance of orange!) from the pictures on the hotel's website, this is a great place - with a fantastic location, comfortable accommodation and incredibly friendly staff. The Dusit D2 is about 10-15 minutes' walk from the... More

Can't believe it is part of Dusit Thani group. Stayed in Club Room. Very average room and tiny bathroom. Would class it 3*. Club lounge not very comfortable. Snacks poor quality. Drinks beer, wine, gin and vodka. Only pluses friendly staff and good location. Breakfast adequate. Thought it was part of Easyjet group, bright orange everywhere.

Very expensive for what it is. 'Upmarket Basic' would be my description. For the price, the amenities were sparse, the room was small as was the pool. Not good value. Far better choices for a lot less in Chiang Mai.

I never write bad reviews I feel to bad for people but these people deserve it. I stayed 5 nights with my friend. At check in they said we could just pay our security deposit/have credit card on file in the next few days because we didn't have cash on us ( we offered to go then and do it)... More

Stayed here for 3 nights during our tour of Thailand. Great hotel, comfortable rooms. The buffet breakfast was excellent with egg station. The pool area was small and the sun had gone off the pool by late afternoon. We also used the local laundry around the corner of the hotel, which was cheap and very good! Lots of places to... More

I stayed in 4 hotels on my trip to Thailand - all of them nice and certainly not cheap. This was the best!! What really pushed it over the top was the free happy hour! *If you stay in a suite you get access to the free happy hour which includes snacks and most importantly make-your-own-cocktails. It was awesome considering... More

Located within a 30 second walk of the night market, but on an amazingly quiet, secure and well lit side street, the Dust D2 is in a great location. The hotel decor is modern and the staff is wonderfully, typically Thai. Coming in from Hong Kong, the Dust D2 is a bargain, in particular the buffet breakfast. The night market... More
