Stop searching for the right hotel if you are looking for a quiet retreat with beautiful grounds with rooms to match. Just a few minutes tuk tuk ride to the hustle and bustle of the city. The breakfast was also exceptional; white table clothes and gorgeous indoor or outdoor courtyard dining. Only issues were with Internet access but you will...

Gorgeous retreat in the middle of Chiang Mia, with beautiful architecture decorated with brilliant antiques which provides for an amazing experience in Chiang Mia, I only wish we could have spent some more time in the hotel

My husband and I were very impressed with this hotel during our 3-night stay in early December. We stayed in one of the superior double rooms (I think) and our room was large, comfortable and gorgeous. I loved the large bed, the furnishings and the artwork in the room- and randomly, there was some pretty good reading material in the...

I stayed at Room 9 for only night, December 6th and booked a superior room. The room had a very small bathroom with a toilet, sink basin, and small shower stall and no bath tub. The hot water for the shower was unavailable after my friend had taken a short shower. The free internet requires constant user id and password...

This hotel is gorgeous. Lana style organized around courtyards, it is landscaped well and has beautiful art objects throughout the building and grounds. The rooms, while not large, are adequate size and nicely furnished with dark wood asian styled elements and furniture. We stayed in 2 different rooms on different dates. The first, room 1, was not as nice as...

I'm now staying in room14 writing this review. At first, I'm so in love with this hotel, excellent service, beautiful decor, and many many other things. But since 6 pm, the music nearby is so loud, I can't even hear my wife's voice when she was in the bathroom while I was in bedroom. I know the sound was not hotel's...

This hotel is as beautiful as any on our trip, lovely rooms, grounds and pool area in particular were very peaceful. There were a few things that need improvement to move up into the top ranks: 1. Internet - while you could get a connection this was the worst setup of our entire Thailand trip. You had to enter a...

I stayed here about a year ago so I guess I should have known better. Yes; it is still an oasis of tranquility and all that, and the architecture is unique; and impressive. I have been very disappointed with the levels of service; when I arrived I was met with cool indifferences – not so much as a welcome drink,...

Absolute peace and relaxation in the old city! A well designed hotel which looks and feels years old. The staff are well trained, polite, helpful and there when you need them. Rooms are comfortable, light, airy and well appointed. Breakfast out doors; plentiful and diverse. I am not sure what else you need from an hotel?

The Rachamankha was a great place to start our Thailand adventure! The architecture and grounds are amazing and peaceful. The pool is a tranquil oasis and the beds are super comfortable. The hotel is in a pretty good location and is walking distance to Sunday Night Walking Street. I would definitely stay here again. The only things to be aware...
