I wouldn't usually stay in a place like this as I prefer smaller run guest houses but we were arriving quite late at night and wanted to ensure we had somewhere to stay so booked this on-line. OK, it's not great, and a lot of what the other reviewers say is true, but it's not overly expensive, especially if like...

I was a walk in guest the other night, I stayed for 3 minutes. The worst I have seen in Chiang Mai, dirty and worn out. The bed was not yellow of urine, it was more brownish. Only thing I really regret is that I didn't take any pictures of the room, I think I will go back just to...

The room was okay - very little dust, open and tidy enough. Rooms on the ground floor I found dusty, 3rd level was good. An older crowd tend to stay here. The ladies at the front counter weren't overly friendly but nice enough. However the Thai lady in the restaurant is lovely. Very average.

One sunny afternoon. We booked a room for the next day and had to pay in advance. We explicitly had to ask for a receipt, the staff also could have been nicer, but overall the place looks pretty nice for the price, so whatever. The next morning, 9 am. We want to check in as agreed upon and the slightly...

Stayed here by accident and won't repeat the mistake again. Cheap accommodation, relatively quiet but the room was old and musty, with cheap bedding. The rooms are almost barrack like, with little light entering the room. Accessing the rooms was difficult for one member of our party who has difficulty climbing stairs. The staff were almost invisible.

Not very sure how to start this review, as it's the third time I'm trying to post it and trip advisor doesn't accept it or doesn't want to publish it. Paid 5 nights to sleep there and I had to leave in the middle of the first night due to the smell of the room, the noise from the close...

last decorated years ago, this is however a great budget hotel, given it has an excellent swimming pool, which in a landlocked city is great, the cafe restaurant is also very good. excellent location in soi 1. ten minutes from Tapae gate. rooms are adequate, cleaned daily, some fans some with Ac/ wifi free throughout.

I've been backpacking on vacations for over 30 years and don't have high expectations and in all my years I've never before experienced such a terrible attitude from any owners. Overpriced, dirty rooms, no hot water (they told me they had solar panels that heated the water but what they meant was the water is only warm when the sun...
