We stayed here for 5 days at the beginning of our 1 month trip in SE Asia. We took a airport taxi to our guesthouse which was 150 baht. The lady was very nice and was teaching us some basic words to use as well as the difference between the north and south dialects. Location- this guesthouse is on the...

This is a small but lovely guest house with very friendly and helpful staff. It is not far from very interesting places to see. The shops and places to drink and eat are a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is right on ths side of the river ping with a great view.

Wee bit late with this review but We were a family of three adults in room 104 on the ground floor for four nights in November 2016. Our room was a good size with a large double bed and proper single bed. Very comfortable. There were many little storage spaces in the room to store bits and pieces which was...

They gave me a downstairs room because with my back and knee it's hard to climb stairs. Lovely old style Thai architecture by the Ping River. Restaurant is reasonable. Lovely grounds full of greenery and places to sit.

The rooms were spacious and clean with nice showers. The setting was really nice next to the river. The breakfast was very good with lots of options and it was nice to eat overlooking the river. The location was great, very close to the night market which is perfect for dinner. Also within walking distance of the old city. The...

The rooms are a bit dated, but okay for a few nights. The garden is pretty, but you cannot sit out there at night because of the mosquitos. We liked that the location was very close to the night market, but it was a bit of a walk from everything else. It was pretty quiet at night though, which is...

Stayed 3 nights at The Galare Guest House during a business trip. The location is good for access to everything. The room was clean but in need of some updating. The restaurant served a nice breakfast but not unusual for CM. The price was a little high for this level of accommodation. I will look for a better value next...

Of the 5 hotels we stayed at on this trip the staff at Galare Guest House made us feel absolutely at home. They were so friendly, we joked & cut up with each other; They learned how to make our eggs perfect after the first day. The lady who worked the tours took a day off to drive us to...

This place was definitely one of the high points of our Thailand trip. Centrally located, amazing price and friendly staff who recommended a lot of activities including elephant park and cooking classes in Chiang Mai. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. Food in the restaurant was so authentic. Words fall short of explaining how amazing this guest house has been....

Quiet and clean. Lovely location on a greenish river which still looks lovely with lights twinkling at night. The outdoor restaurant right next to the river is quite inviting, food ok, didn't really sample much. Breakfast not included, but for very reasonable price get to sit outside and feel comfortable and relaxed. There is a small fridge and water boiler,...
