A very comfortable hotel with clean very comfortable rooms. Restaurant and food ok but not startling although restaurant manager good fun and entertaining with theatrical presence and treats for guests especially ladies. Not sure but this seemed to be put on on more for touring groups.Good position for visiting the town and area. Staff pleasant . Overall good a few...

We (2 couples) stayed at the Empress Hotel in Chiang Mai and could not fault the service we received from checkin until departure. We received upgrade to an executive suite with a complimentary fruit bowl and a pillow gift of cookies. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of Western and Asian dishes. The hotel is within walking distance to...

This hotel was a real surprise. We were constantly, pleasantly surprised. We were upgraded to the executive floor, then were given a large platter of fruit and a big bag of goodies that include three packages of chocolates, two cartons of fruit juices and numerous other goodies. The topper was that they gave us a free dinner that was comprised...

Nice location, walking distance to markets and shops, though it is a reasonable distance. Great cafe with one of the best coffees we found in Thailand, also nice fresh cakes. Good tour desk for organising tours. ATM just across driveway.

We stayed several days at the Empress and enjoyed our stay immensely. The front desk staff wasn't all that helpful on our arrival but they warmed up over time and provided great service the following day. The breakfast buffet is expansive, the rooms comfortable and the pool and deck quiet and relaxing. The hotel seemed to be close to everything...

The hotel is an ideal location for walking around the town. The breakfast buffet is HUGE with a large variety of foods. The rooms do not have a safe, so you have to go to the desk everytime, which is a little inconvenient. And the rooms are quaint, but a little tired looking. Would highly recommend a visit to the...

Empress hotel is located within walking distance to the Anusarn Night Bazaar, Chiang Mai, Thailand and is in a rather quiet area but with good accessibility. The breakfast is good and the variety is sufficient to meet diet preference of all guests. Rooms are spacious and clean except a flaw in the bathroom that needs rectification. It is difficult to...

We stay here quite often, since we like everything about this hotel; rooms, staff, food, and location. It feels like coming home every time we check in! It is a Convention Hotel, so it is usually full, but the staff has always got time for their guests.

A quite reasonable to to satisfy the basics needs , nothing special about it. Breakfast is good , but not lots of options for muslims. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bed is comfy, but not really very clean Shower is great, strong hot water so refreshing. But its not really so close to night bazaar , 80 to 100 baht...
