This really didn’t seem like a four star hotel mentioned, but it was central to a lot of places like the market which was 15 min ride by public bus and walkable distance to the famous wall in the area. I didn’t think there was great food to try near the hotel, but they do have a few 7/11 and a Starbucks. The hotel did offer free breakfast for our stay and I felt like the food catered to a lot of Chinese tourist.

The rooms were decent size and I thought it was pretty quite. The bed wasn’t the greatest. It felt like layers of thin mattress, but surprising I still slept well. There was a safe in the room and the bathroom was big. It was easy to catch a public bus which cost about 30bahts (1usd) to go the market, but make sure you bring a business card because drivers find it hard to comprehend the hotel name. I thought the view from my room was beautiful. I was able to see the city and the mountains.

The gym was super tiny. There was about 4 machine and the pool area wasn’t the greatest spot to hang and go for a dip. Water was very deep (I’m 5’2 and I can’t touch the ground) and cold if you go in December.

Not sure if this happens often, but check in was much later then I thought. Although I left my luggage there, it would have been nice to get to my room first. Overall the price is good, but it definitely was not a 4 star hotel.

Excellent location; but seemed slightly high priced and as others have said, it’s not quite a 4 star. They could not provide an iron for me and simply suggested that we use their dry cleaning service which didn’t help in our first night.

Room was lovely, nice view, clean and good size. The only issue I had was that the safe was not bolted down and therefore someone could take the entire safe very easily as it only weighed about 10kg.

The bath was slightly small but functional. Gym was tiny but not busy at all. The pool gets shade in the afternoon, the water was too cold for us to swim but we relaxed and had a cocktail. The pool service was excellent.

The breakfast was spot on, good for Thai and westerners. Very enjoyable and peaceful no large groups, mainly couples and families.

We walked to most places including the night bazaar which was a 15min walk.

Couldn’t fault the location at all! There was a red taxi at the front every morning so when we wanted to visit the Doi Sethep temple, it easy. 600baht for two and they waited for us.

The rooms were large and clean. The rooms were a little weathered with some marks on the wall, re-caulked bathroom tile, but they were minor blemishes. The staff was friendly, but there was a language barrier with some, but we are in their country. Internet in the room was great and breakfast was included. For the price it's a good place to stay.

This hotel is nice from outside only. Its very bad very bad from inside. There is no basic amenities for the guest like dental kit you wash basin is without lid. Bathtubs are broken. Bathtub taps are rusty. Bathrooms walls are swollen. No hand shower in bathroom. On Agoda it says few rooms are with shower and bathtub and few rooms are with just shower and but every rooms has bathtub and fixed head shower. They don't have hand shower. Even the hotels which are not good and charging 600 - 1000 THB are also providing a good service and atleast basic amenities. Bath towel are torn. Staff offered to move to new room but that's also has lizard in the bed room. So we have to adjust in connecting room only. Breakfast is also not upto the mark and not worth the prize that you are paying to stay in this hotel.

It was a very bad customer service at reception and in hotel
First we had a injury in swimming pool and they did not have a first aid , we did our own first aid and they did not do anything
Then on last day when we check out we had 2 hours before our flight they did not want to give chairs even though we were 15 people
Then they said go to swimming pool and sit there but did not have enough chairs they said they do not have more chairs
Even in hotel room , in bathroom
There is no exhaust fan

I am very disappointed with the room accommodations. The water in the bathroom never got hotter than tepid. The wooden bed base sits out far beyond the mattress making a tripping hazard which I fell into.

The hotel lobby is lovely, but other common areas are showing their age. The staff were outstanding!

It was all about location, location, location. But I wish I’d had a more comfortable bed because I didn’t sleep well due to the bed being so hard. We did get massages almost every day which helped, but not from their spa, so I can’t recommend. We did walk everywhere from the hotel, to restaurants, to spas, to temples and the not to be missed Sunday night market in old town.

The property could use some minor maintenance but is still very comfortable and well located. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. A/C worked well and was needed. Many dining options are in walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. Situated just outside the old walled city you will need a Grab ride or taxi to get there from airport. It is an outstanding value for the price we paid!

The best part of this hotel is location. Room a bit old. Service need some improvement. Have book a room with King bed but was given twin bed, with explanation that king bed is overbooked. I was explained to the poor reception that we booked this room two weeks before and get the confirmation for king bed and they should honor what they have committed. Requested to see Manager but he/she never make an effort to come out from the office to meet customer and left a poor reception to deal with un happy customer. They finally give us the King bed and mentioned this is a courtesy upgrade? We do not request upgrade, just need the king bed that we booked

Our friend slipped and fell from a puddle in front of the elevator, his foot is badly injured. As a result his work had to be rescheduled as he is now wheel chair bounded. Hotels response is cold and inadequate. We are extremely disappointed and dissatisfied by this.
