Me and my girlfriend recently stopped at mojito and absolutely loved it, you have either dorms or a good variety of privative rooms, some come with there own shower others don't, depends how much you pay, 400 baht will get you your own private room with shower, staff are so friendly and you will meet some great guys here, was... Really relaxing place with nice people and staff. The common bathrooms & toilets are really clean. You can book your activities directly at the reception (jungle trekks, slow boat to Laos, rent a scooter for 200 baths per day ...) You have a nice bar in the backpacker as well with a pool and reggae music. I recommend

It does look like a little "hole in the wall" from out front but we found it was very exceptional for our budget (between 200-400 baht a night) We got a nice big queen bed with big balcony facing the street and own private shower on the top floor. Yes we found a cockroach in our room but hey, you're... More

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone First off, it was our own fault for not asking to see the room before we paid, however saying that we had read some good reviews on TripAdvisor The room had no windows, all there was, was a bed, and a toilet... the shower and sink were both dripping and neither did our room... We had booked our entire stay in advance online for this guesthouse but when we arrived they struggled to find our reservation. This was despite me emailing to inform them we would be arriving later than usual check-in due to being outside of Chiang Mai the night before. Once they found our reservation we were asked to pay slightly more... More

I stayed in a single room on the first floor and there was only one bathroom at the third floor. The staff wasn't helpful at all. It wasn't easy to open my room door and there was no window in it (outside of the building). It's cheap and you can stay here overnight if there is no other option, but... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in late April and was shocked at how miserable the girl at Reception was. When checking in there were no smiles, and she barely took her eyes off her iPad. The rooms are ok - private twin - but the fan didn't rotate, it was just fixed facing forward between the beds. The place was... More

Good location, close to the small market and to a lot of nice small restaurants and coffee places. Nice rooms and dorms (100 bahts/person in a 6 bed dorm!!), where each bed is separated from the other with curtains, giving you a little bit of privacy. Rooms and bathroom are clean.

We stayed at Mojito House for one night in December. The location is great and the street is quiet at night. It's clean enough but there are only two bathrooms/toilets and toilet paper isn't provided. Although we asked for blankets we weren't given any and it was absolutely freezing...there was nobody there to give us any after we returned from... More

Exactly what you want on a budget in Chiang Mai, it's a cheap/cheerful hostel. The hostel itself is pretty clean, bathrooms aren't amazing but it's not terrible.. make sure you ask for toilet paper or buy your own as there's isn't any in the bathrooms. There are a few random kittens I noticed that ran about the place, but apart... More
