If you can get over the rudeness and sarcasm of the owner, it was a pretty cool place to stay. The elephant jungle sanctuary they you book from them is incredible. Rooms were pretty clean and good place to meet people, but no hot water. People out drinking and chilling till about 4 am if that's your thing, but also... More

We were refused toilet tissue a number of times despite our room not having any. The owner in particular was rude to us at the pool party. This hostel is not for everyone, especially those who want to have some fun. We tried tried to have fun, but were shutdown.

My friend and I had such an incredible time at Deejai - the staff are super lovely, the rooms are very reasonable and comfortable and it's located near to everything you need. We stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm with AC, everything was perfect - all very clean and our other two roomies were very friendly and we ended... More

The hostel is ok. It has a large place to meet people and a swimming pool a few meters away. The room was ok, except that the shower's curtain was full of fungus and there was not toilet paper replacement till next day. Also the garbage can at the bathroom was not clean every day.

Good place to stay for backpackers, rooms are clean and showers are good. There's a pool across the road which is free for guests at Deejai, not to mention they sell proper full English breakfasts! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here at Deejai it's a good place to meet new people. Also Rob at the front desk was brilliant, really... More

The english guy at reception was very welcoming and helpful, helping us about where to go and helped us book all of our excursions too! Place has very good vibes to it. Wifi is also available for free. Stayed in a 4 bed dorm, beds weren't... More

I truly believe this to be one of the best places to be in all of Thailand. The poolarea is beautiful, the rooms are clean and the staff is awesome. I lost my wallet outside the common era, the cleaning Lady found it and returned it to me, not one Baht missing! Another time my roommate got sick, the Lady... More

When we arrived, we were so excited to be in the north of Thailand... then it all went down hill because of this place. We got no information about what's going on, where our room was, wifi or even where the pool was at check in! the room had clumps of hair on the floor, dirty footprints and no toilet... More

The hostel is a great place with a pool 2 minutes walk down the road. Rob who works in the hostel is a great host and will go out of his way to make you feel very welcome and help with anything he can. Great place to socialise and would highly recommend it! Over all a really good stay with... More

Best Hostel in CM hands down. I also stayed at Hug Hostel in CM. It wasn't nearly as much fun. As soon as I arrived at DJs i made friends that I hung out with for the next few weeks. The place is great. Highly recommended. The staff is friendly, rooms are nice, and they have a pool.
