When I stay in Chiang Mai on budget - I always go to Sparrow's Nest as I know, the quality of service and accommodation there is not changing during times. I recommend this guesthouse for travellers and families on budget. Sparrow's Nest is a little tricky to find, as it is located at the back of a much more expensive...

We stayed at the Sparrow Nest for just one night (fortunately). We payed 700 Baht for one night, because the room seemed nice at first sight. Once we got a closer look we noticed that it wasn't worth the price we payed. There were lots of living and dying mosquitos on the blanket. The blanket itself was dirty and had...

bed is clean, environment is good. Staffs of guest house are nice. Location is good. Not that easy to find after Sunday street market started. Since I booked that guest house on Sunday, the flight arrived at 8:30 p.m. , the driver cannot drop me at the guest house. I need to walk to that guest house.

We had a nice time here. The rooms are basic and do not live up to the pictures but they were clean. Were were given fresh towels, our bins were also emptied daily, new loo roll and fridge restocked with fresh water. I would rather stay in a very basic room that is clean and with very friendly and helpful...

the room doesnt look as good as the pictures, everything is older and dirtier. the tv is too small to be seen from the bed. the toilet was big though. our bed was extremely squeaky. the mosquitoes net needed to be changed but they served their purpose. the first shower we took flooded the toilet, but it was promptly fixed...

We stayed here 13-14 October. The room was lovely, with very nice deco, especially the bathroom. We are not comparing it with a full-priced hotel, as this is a guest house and costs only about USD20 per night, but even a proper hotel might not be much better than this. The room was clean, especially the bathroom. The TV was...

Located behind villa duang champa is the lovely sparrows nest. Our taxi driver did not know the guest house so he dropped us in the Soi. Which was fine but next time would tell them to drop me at duang champa (this is where you check in and get your tour info from as well) The staff was very helpful...

Friendly and helpful staff in a nice, green leafy environment. I returned after a month in Myanmar to be greeted like a long-lost friend. Tony and Lar are particularly friendly. The taxi drivers don't know Sparrow's Nest. Best you ask to go to Villa Duang Champa, the hotel attached to, and in front of Sparrow's Nest, as it is very...

As many reviews have suggested, this guesthouse shares the entrance and general garden area with a spa & hotel (owned by the same owner), which makes it great value. The rooms are small, but clean and stylish. 2 free bottles of waters daily is a plus, and the location is right on the sunday walking street. Unfortunately, getting a wifi...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sparrow's Nest. Located behind a posh boutique hotel, the Sparrow's Nest was like a precious little gem hidden in the middle of Chiang Mai's historic district. Tangmo, Tony and staff treated me like a long-time guest, and I felt very much at home with their personal and caring touch. The location was ideal,...

“If you choose this place, please tell you taxi driver to go to Villa Duang Champa, as this gh is at the back of it, and the sign of Sparrow's Nest is too small to be seen on a moving car. Also, they both belong to the same owner and shares the same management. Another helpful sign that can help you to locate it is the green Intanon Cafe (huge writings) which is a few shops away on the right. The Massage place just next door to it is very professional, and the price is standard at 200B - highly recommended too.”
