Clean bathroom. Small room. Good breakfast. At the booking we sent request for parking place and room in upper floor. They offered us room at the ground floor but after our protest they gave us room in upper floor but probably the smallest room in guesthouse (it was like a revenge). We received parking after some hour or two. Also...

The stay here was quite perfect, the staff was very kind, they welcomed us and immediately helped us organize our stay and trips around Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai even though it was already quite late at night. Breakfast was rich and with many different choices. The room was large, maybe the only negative thing was the shower because the...

I stayed at the SamWong Boutique Resort for 6 nights over new year with my wife and 7 month old daughter. We normally stay close by but they refused to take children. You couldn't really ask for a much better location, few minutes walk from Tapae gate where most of the New Year celebrations normally are. The room we stayed...

Nice guest house with lots of quirky decor however, it has delusions of grandeur and you could probably get a very nice hotel for a little extra. In its favour, it is the only place I've stayed in that provides a mosquito machine and tablets. Rooms are clean and bed was comfy. Our room was very noisy in the morning...

Great location. Nice and clean and cute hotel. Very nice (but cold) swimming pool. A little loud. Ear plugs a must. No where to put luggage. One wooden rack with only 3 hooks so you have to live out of your suitcase. Breakfast is included and there are several options but it wasn't very good. Juice is not real. Coffee...

If you're staying in Chiang Mai and aren't a backpacker/have any kind of money to spend then upgrade and don't stay at Somwang. You get what you pay for...tiny rooms and that can be tough when you need to spread out your gear. Also, AC and fridge only work when room key is in the door, and shower is hot...

The Somwang Boutique Hotel is east of the city center, close to the Tha Phase Gate. The Night Bazaar is just a walking distance of about 15 minutes. Our room was on the ground floor and was alright. Bathroom was okay, A/C was good. However the room's only window faced the inner court of the hotel. The hotel pool ist...

It's a nice, little hotel with VERY friendly staff. The place was really clean! The location is great! Just off one of the feeder roads that surround the Old Town and near one of the best bars in the area. Breakfast is included and good. Just don't expect a lot of options. The rooms are really small and no desk...

Lovely pool in a pretty courtyard with unusual decorative features. Rooms clean, beds comfortable, and a fridge and aircon in each room. We had a double (not that large, but ok) and a large triple. Bathrooms fine. I don't know why people think there should be a shower curtain (reading other reviews) - it is a wet room so doesn't...

Extra charge of 3% on credit card because we booked late and could not pay anymore at the booking site!? Bad smell in the bathroom. Very bad finishing of room and bathroom (compare for 3 star standard and the price we paid). The water-pipes are open somewhere because in the daytime only hot water in bathroom even when you turn...
