I have been staying here for almost 2 months in a standard type room. It’s large and complete with TV, fridge, well furnished and has a balcony. Really comfortable and quiet too. I’ve stayed in tens of apartments in Thailand and this is the best ever. Convenient for restaurants, 7/11, Tesco Lotus, gyms, Thai style bars, all in walking distance. No need for transportation and the city center can be walked to too. Great value for money....Baht 5,500 per month. Absolutely recommended!

Absolutely one of the best value for money accomodations in Chiang Mai! It also has some nice details quite rare for it´s price-range, such as a rooftop with an amazing view, a separate shower area, 2 desks instead of just 1, bed sheets included in rental cost, a lamp built-in the bed and free WiFi with good signal. I lived there for 1 month and had an excellent experience! And what makes it one of a kind is Ake, the owner! I work in Hospitality business, I´ve stayed at +100 accomodations around the world and I can say Ake is extremely organized, efficient and truly cares for his Guests. Besides, location is very convenient and the helpful night guard always greets you with a smile! This place will always be my favorite option when in Chiang Mai! :)

I stayed at View Do for ~5 months and found Ake (the owner) to be the best landlord I've ever had. When my AC unit broke during the middle of the biggest public holiday in Thailand, he made sure it was fixed within 24 hours. When I needed high speed wifi, he set everything up with the company (Sinet) on my behalf. Nobody in Chiang Mai has anything bad to say about this guy. The room itself is great for the price (5000 baht/month as of writing). I also went back and booked a room on the day rate, and had a good experience with this as well. The location is perfect, with dozens of restaurants within 1-200 meters, and 5 minutes from both Nimman and the Old City. I highly recommend staying here (good luck though, it's usually fully booked and for good reason).

I've lived in Chiang Mai for 3 years and this is by far the best apartment available in its price range. There's everything you need to be comfortable. The owner, Ake, is awesome and accommodating. You can even rent a scooter through him. Location has everything you need close by, including a 7/11, laundromat, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Great for short or long term stay. Two months security deposit on a 5,000/month apartment for long stay. Highly recommended but book early. It's usually full.

Been here for a couple months now. Location is perfect. Can walk out to 20-30 restaurants within a few hundred metres. Close to Nimman (if you're into that sort of thing lol), old city, KSK, Maya, Mueng Mai. Big local market 5 mins away. Great value for money (building isn't new but super clean). It's pretty quiet in the room considering the location. We've got a room facing away from Suthep. No view but we only get morning sun so the room stays much cooler - our preference. The building recently became Sinet ready - we pay for our own line as building wifi is patchy at times (though still super useable for those on a budget). It's a local area. Ake the building manager runs a very tight ship (Western standards). Super responsive and friendly - goes out of his way to make things happen for you. He is quite literally amazing. I've lived all over Asia for years and never had a landlord like Ake (he would be a stand-out in the West). You won't regret staying here - if you're looking for a cheap base for a month or 6, email Ake and book. Cons: Water pressure is a bit crap in our room (about a 4 out of 10 so not terrible in context) but considering all else this is nothing.
